"The property at Val Vista was accommodating for two couples to stay in the area. Quiet and private, we enjoyed lovely weather in the outdoor space. However, the pool is not heated and was too cold to enjoy this time of year. (Hosts are quite upfront about this). The home was clean and well stocked with the basics. It could really use dressers in each of the bedrooms for those staying a while, as there is plenty of room for furniture and no drawers for clothing. We enjoyed fresh lemons and grapefruits off the property trees. We were suprised to see a charcoal grill and the host even delivered grill tools for our use during the trip! The home has shopping and cute downtown Gilbert restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive. Overall, super hosts, communication and a great stay! "

"There was one working elevator however guest kept trying to overfill it causing it to not work a couple times during the stay. The bathroom in my room wasn't cleaned properly. I received text messages around children of other guest misbehaving that were offensive as i was the only african American there at that time. "

"There was no booking. Thank GOD I called ahead. Then I tried another hotel through your sister but called to be sure and was told they had someon arrive saying they had booked with you only to have no room. You need to clean up your act big time. Rating is zero. "
