"This property is amazing! It is tucked away in what was formally a quarry; there is plenty of room on the property to go for hikes (you'll discover some amazing things). You must be patient about getting to the property (very isolated), but we were extremely pleased with all aspects once we got settled in. The hosts (Emilio and Tania) are kind, informative, and responsive; they even left us a beautiful tray of wine and treats and another with sunscreen and bug spray. I did, however, have issues...

"Pros: We chose the place based on the facilities rather than the location, so if you're wanting entertainment on your doorstep you'd be slightly disappointed. But for us, the villa was ideal, plenty of room inside, large swimming pool and excellent outdoor entertainment area including a pizza oven. Josephine was a wonderful hostess, very attentive and generous. Highly recommend a stay at Villa Mariavittoria if Sicily is your destination of choice."

"Pros: The house had plenty of room for our family of five, was clean, comfortable and had a beautiful outside and pool area. The communication and hospitality from the hosts was also excellent, making us feel welcome and helping us out with info on the house and local knowledge when we needed it. Cons: Nothing!"

"Pros: La casa estaba limpia y constaba con todos los útiles necesito en una cocina, jardín cuidado, piscina ideal con servicio de limpieza cada mañana de forma discreta por parte del anfitrión que fue muy amable y atento. Toallas para la piscina, toallas de baño blancas relucientes, sabanas de algodón gustosas, colchones nuevos y muy cómodos... Un placer conocer a Georgio y Borena, de lo mejor de Sicilia!!! Volveremos seguro!"
