"This Hotel overbooked and moved my reservation to another lesser hotel without my approval. They sent an email a couple hours before check in but I was on the road so was totally unaware. I was in a hurry to get to a work event so I didn't have any time to dispute or research another hotel option. They did comp the cost for the other hotel which was a nice gesture but overbooking and telling someone upon arrival that you are not staying at the booked hotel is unacceptable. From the looks and condition of the lobby the place looked very nice which make it even more disappointing."

"I am writing to formally document several grave security failures I encountered during my recent stay at your Houston property. These were not mere inconveniences; they were fundamental breaches of guest safety that left me feeling vulnerable and unsafe in my own room. Specifically, I am bringing the following issues to your immediate attention: • Door Hardware Failure: The door to my room did not sit flush with the frame. Not only were there visible gaps that compromised my privacy, but the latch was so poorly aligned that the door could be bypassed and opened using a simple credit card. • Systemic Code Vulnerability: I discovered that the numeric passcode for my room lock was not unique. It followed a predictable pattern tied directly to the room number. Anyone with knowledge of the hotel’s numbering system could have easily deduced my "private" code and entered the room. The combination of a physically insecure door and a predictable electronic lock system is unacceptable for a major hospitality brand. A hotel room should be a secure sanctuary; instead, I was forced to stay in a room that effectively had no lock at all."

"Staff was very nice. My issue was with the insanely long wait times for the elevators and also, my partner and i were laying in bed at 9am when stuff busted in on us. Checkout isnt until 11am. Then we tried to relax more since i had a stressful long flight in the night before and we were awoken by the front desk calling our room. I missed the call but called them back asking why they had called our room. They said they didnt mean to. So two interruptions when we were just trying to relax after a very stressful day before. Unfortunately was not able to. Getting busted in on without a knock at all is enough for me not to come back especially since we paid $350 for this room for one night. Also the staff was yelling while cleaning the other rooms next to us at 10am right before they came into our room without notice or knocking. You can hear clear through the walls."
