Great location in the city centre. You can walk to the main attractions (all within a 10 minute walk). Room was clean and had no issues. Hotel has a pool and restaurant/bar which is great for relaxing. Staff was friendly and helpful when I needed to print train tickets.

Great location. Exactly where you want to be when visiting for a short trip. The room was great. The onsite parking was also great but be aware that you drive through a pedestrian zone to get there, we panicked a bit.

When I arrived, my reservation had already been fully paid in advance. However, at check-in, I was asked to pay for the room again, which resulted in being charged twice for the same reservation. Unfortunately, the staff member who assisted me at check-in was not particularly helpful when I tried to clarify the situation. Fortunately, at check-out, another staff member was very kind and professional. They reviewed the charges, immediately understood that the room had been paid twice, and resolved the issue by arranging a refund for the duplicate payment. I really appreciated the way they handled the situation and their excellent assistance.

The location of the hotel was excellent. The beach area and swimming pool were great. The room was clean but a bit dated. There was a lot of noise on the Saturday night coming from people in the streets outside which made it difficult to sleep. It was quieter on the other nights. The handle on the room door was broken and kept falling off, this made it very difficult to close the door. We mentioned this to the staff on reception a couple of times, hoping it would be sorted but they didn’t do anything.

I was staying for a meeting and the arrangements for that were very good. Friendly staff, large room, right in the city centre. Pedestrian area at the front but taxis can access. Don't be put off by the decaying Novotel sign, the building has been refurbished.
