We were so disappointed with our stay. The steps to the apartment are steep, as people have mentioned, the bigger issue is that they’re uneven, so you suddenly meet a step that’s a lot deeper than the others, it’s not too bad going up, but be careful going down.
On first glance the apartment is nice and it is well equipped.
There were no instructions as to how to put the sofa bed up, or where to find the bedding, we did eventually find it. We did ask for help, and to be fair, the team did eventually manage to confirm where to find things, as they had to ask their team based in Belgium, as head office is somewhere else. They kept suggesting we ring on WhatsApp, but the app clearly says to keep contact in Vrbo.
Parts of the apartment were dirty and plaster was falling off, particularly in the bathroom.
On our last night we were awoken by really loud banging on the doors of one of the other apartments, this started at around 200 and continued on and off until around 330 am. Our children were petrified. The doors to the front door of the apartment block didn’t work, so we had no idea who this was and weren’t willing to go out to find out.
We got in touch with the apartment owner about this and they said they would look into it and get back to us with a suitable response, they never got back to us with a suitable response and asked us to leave a 5 star review. We were unable to do this and feel really let down at our stay.
