I had a wonderful experience at the AC Hotel by Marriott Guyana. The hotel is modern, clean, and beautifully designed, with a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to assist. The rooms were spacious and well maintained, and the service throughout my stay was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting again.
This hotel deserves all the stars ⭐️ atmosphere ambience friendly staff, food, clean room rooms always clean. I’ll definitely recommend will definitely return Love the AC Marriott in Georgetown Guyana.
I stayed for one night only, but it is an excellent option for people going offshore the day after travelling the whole day as the location is very close to the Heliport. The staff is very kind and help you with anything you need.
This is a new hotel therefore everything looked clean and tidy. I spend only one night but managed to try the food which was very good and enjoyed the gym.
The staff went above and beyond to make our stay delightful. The food was great and I am especially grateful that we were served fresh local juice rather than juice from a box. My two little ones enjoyed their stay very much. A perfect blend of Guyanese hospitality and contemporary ambiance.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is new and very well kept, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived.
The food looked amazing and added to the overall great experience.
My wife and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary here, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special.
We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay.
Hotel is beautiful! Personally, I liked the location. I felt safe and it was quiet, and when the shops right outside the hotel are finished being built, it will be perfect. The pool area is gorgeous, I just wished they played a bit more local music. I did find issue with the timing - you'd get a time of when the pool bar/restaurant would open, but it wouldn't be accurate. Most staff was nice, but I encountered one grumpy staff member cleaning the gym (which is also nice), who got a little annoyed with me because I wasn't sure how to exit the gym door after going in to use the bathroom. I figured it out before he got to me, but he was grumbling, when all he had to do was tell me to swipe my card. Another issue I had was that one day I bought food from outside and sat down on a table in the lobby area, in the back, close to the bar. I was told by the person working in the bar that I couldn't eat there. She was nice about it and I understood that she was just doing her job, but that's ridiculous! Guests cannot eat in the lobby? Lol. I have been to about 50/60 hotels in my life and I have never been told something so ridiculous. Wait until the coffee shop opens across the road - tell people they can't eat in the lobby then lol. I think management needs some lessons in hospitality. If the hotel wants to strictly be a business hotel, then put up a disclaimer that the hotel does not serve for personal vacations, but guess what? Business men eat too, ha! I'd stay again.
The hotel is nice.looks like they was short of staff the service at pool side wasn't good at all there was just 1 server that had to serve about 40 person I order tenders and fries she brought it without any sauce no tissue no fork.the room the sheets and pillows didn't had a fresh scent at all.i checked in with my kids and husband to spend 1 night because of the holiday but we checked out back at around 7 the same evening.i think manager need to do a better job with managing of the hotel.
i arrived at 230 am and taught i. paid for breakfast on expedia 43 US x 2
only to find out that i had to pay 62 $ extra at the hotel that kinda throw me off ! even though i was telling the staff and showed them my receipt still had to repay for breakfast !
Terrible staff. I prepaid for breakfast. They couldn’t find it in their systems and continuously harassed me throughout my stay. I was with my 10 year old. Despite being told it was cleared, they continued everyday to pester me. I decided just to pay to get them to leave me alone. And I emailed corporate Marriott. On day of check out. They again told me I had an unpaid balance. Ridiculous.
The rooms were not cleaned for two days. Despite asking repeatedly for room cleaning. No clean towels until we asked repeatedly.
The door locked me out of my room one day because the battery died on the door. I had to wait for them to fix it. Though the handy man was very helpful.
I am a frequent traveler and I don’t ever post on these forums. But I thought it was important so others don’t face the same issues.
Don’t waste your time here. There are plenty of other hotels with better amenities and staff. If I could give them a zero I would.
We weren’t put on a higher floor as indicated at booking. When questioned we were told there was a leak/problem on 5th floor. Hoping for another corner room on a higher floor [than 1] we were shown alternative rooms that were smaller.
Additionally the pillows were stained with red juice or wine. Considering the newness of the hotel more was expected. The front desk manager, Ebony was firm and proactive with training she’ll be a great. However the hotel could do better should be better considering the growth of guests and expected.
My stay was good however I book for a room on the top floor but was place on the second floor and was disturb by the loud music of an event party at the pool that started at 5 am
Otherwise my stay qas overall good!
