Not so much a boutique hotel as a better-than-average cheapie. Many rooms are windowless (not unusual for Malaysia) and the place is basically a reasonably well kept low-rise guesthouse, part of the multi-year gentrifaction of central George Town. Good in terms of nearby eating options and walkability.

This is fantastic value for money - we had everything we needed for a very short stay. The room was spotless, modern and very comfortable - our room was small and there was no window but we knew that in advance and that is why it is so reasonably priced. The location is excellent.

Poor housekeeping

We stayed two days. At the end of Day 1, the toilet was blocked and I left a note at reception for it to be fixed. It was not and as a result Day 2 was terrible. Furthermore, the room was not cleaned for Day 2.
