We actually only spent one night here and ended up in Seabiscuit over the road as it was free and right on the water. The owner kindly let us move over to be on the wate.
Bonefish Bungalow was clean and perfect as advertised. The owner was away but the housesitter upstairs looking after the dogs, Marjorie was a dream ! She showed us around the area, gave us a lowdown or what to do and how to navigate the roads and oneway system in town. We ended up staying in Seabiscuit for 6 of the 7 nights as it was available, i would reccomend if you can ! Its right on the water, the dock is incredible, we swam, kayaked, fished and chilled. The cottage is well equipped and had everything we needed to cook lots of meals and the BBQ was great ! The beds were comfortable, the AC and fans all worked well and we would love to come back. As its been mentioned in other reviews, yes there are dogs that do occasionally bark but its for like 1 minute a day if that, its NOT a problem and if you are lucky enough for them to be allowed to visit for the day they are so sweet and friendly ! Coco came to our house (invited) and laid on the mat wagging her tail like she was our own as we missed our dog alot !. The bonefishing was excellent , my partner caught every time he went over to the sand bar at low tide when the tide was coming in.
The island is STUNNING never seen sea that turquoise before and we really enjoyed the day out on a boat with swimming pigs and igunas.
We felt safe the whodvertised
