Disappointing Stay — Poor Value for Money
I’ve been cycling through Sweden for several weeks, staying at numerous hotels, and unfortunately, this was one of my most disappointing experiences.
The room was extremely small, one of the smallest I’ve encountered. The bed was tiny, and the bathroom was ridiculously cramped. I’m not a particularly tall or large person, yet I could barely sit on the toilet without turning sideways. I cannot imagine how a taller or larger guest would manage. There was also an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom.
On the positive side, the room was clean, and the lady who checked me in was very friendly and helpful. I appreciated her assistance with storing my bicycle.
Breakfast was extremely basic, with very limited choices. Having worked in the hotel industry myself, I found the selection particularly disappointing.
Checkout was equally frustrating. The receptionist kept me waiting while having what appeared to be a personal phone conversation, despite knowing I needed my bicycle for a long day of cycling.
Overall, this property offers poor value for money. I’ve paid less elsewhere in Sweden for much larger, more comfortable rooms and better breakfasts.
Unfortunately, I would not stay here again.
