The rooms are bare minimum. Clean but old. The restroom was freezing. The caulking around the floor was all cracked and half missing. Even cleaned it looked dirty. No hair dryer offered. Could have been much nicer with no a lot of effort. We had a balcony which was nice except for the giant bright light in the ceiling,would have great if we could have turned it off. In our unit both elevators did not work.. Both? That meant everything we traveled with had to be cared up the stairs. That really was hard to do.

Now if you want to see bears they came everyday. The poor things are conditioned to come for food. Do not leave food in your car,trash outside of your room and for the love of God don't feed them. They will eventually be relocated and if that doesn't work they will be destroyed. I don't think visitors realize that. It is a pet friendly place so please think about them being out there when you take your pups out for a walk.
The location of the hotel was almost to the last stop on your way out light towards Cherokee just to give you idea of how far it's from the town center.
