"Arrived at the hotel at 12:30 am and saw a family with two small children waiting. I waited for about 10 minutes, and the lady came and told this family that it would be a few more minutes before their room was ready. I was thinking, it's 12:30 am, everyone is sleeping! She asked me if she could help. I explained that I needed to check in. The lady looked at her computer and said well she doesn't have the poolside room ready. I explained that it's 12:30 am, and all rooms should already be cleaned, as it was already paid for. She said wait I will go check so she went. This family said that they were waiting and have been for a while, as they don't have any clean rooms. The lady came back 15 minutes later and said oh we have one clean. She checked me in. I leave this family in the waiting room. I get to the room, and it is so hot when we walk in, the heat just hits you as you open the door. I start looking for the register to turn off the heat. I found it, and it said the room is at 80 degrees. So I put it on cool and turn it down. I think it'll be a few minutes before it cools down. Well, it never did cool down, and I couldn't even shut it off. It was like a sauna in there. I couldn't get anyone to come and check it; the front desk was unavailable. The wallpaper is peeling off the walls in the hallway. Mop boards are peeled off the walls. A cleaning person is cleaning the rooms near ours at 12:30 am. The hot tub was barely warm. This place needs some work."

"I almost hate to say this, but why would you stay at any other proton Bismarck unless you want a pool? YOU wouldn’t! Been staying there since my kids were young and that’s a long time! Never been disappointed even once!"

"The room was clean. A bit outdated but the beds were comfortable and we had plenty of towels. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Breakfast was okay. No meat with the scrambled eggs. Only potatoes and biscuits and gravy. When we told them at checkout about a faulty heater/air conditioner, he said he didn’t know if maintenance would get to it because there was always something breaking down. I do not plan to come back to this motel. "
