"My wife and I stayed over easter with the grandparents and a 1 year old who was crawling everywhere. The cottage was lovely and we got some great weather. The pool on site was loved by all and an excellent bonus after a day exploring castles in the area. If you have children it's worth a drive out to Folly Farm - adults will appreciate the indoor and outdoor activities and the opportunity to sit a get a drink while the little ones play. "Drink options great. Very clean room. Fixtures are worn and dated, but very clean. Room was very spacious and had every thing you need ie tea, coffee, biscuits, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, toiletries. If you need disabled room, you will need to ask as there are steps up to the rooms otherwise. Spa facilities are lovely. So clean and organised. Lovely swimming pool. The restaurant is tired decor wise, but the staff are so friendly, efficient, and the food was great quality, price and great portion sizes. Compliments to the chef. Breakfast too was very tasty, fresh, veggie option for me, and plentyful. We had a wonderful overnight break and are definitely going back for one of their entertainment evening's."
