Horrible ending to what would have been awesome stay. 1) Place is great. All the amenities and spacious. Loved it. 2) Then overcharged by property manger/Alpine Holiday Apartments Team. Arriving late, manager left key in a key box. When calling for code she made a huge deal about me putting the 28 euro tourist tax to be in the box - three times she mentioned in the first minute as if I was an eight year old. She showed zero concern when I mentioned that we were tired and my child was a little sick - just some version of don’t forget the 28 euros. I put the money in the box and locked it, but all along they had actually charged this amount earlier that day on my credit card for that amount. I did not realize we already paid it. When I inquired about returning the money we paid in cash, she provided me and Expedia multiple stories, none which matched the truth. I was doubled charged - that simple. Frankly I couldn’t keep up with the shifting reasons of me paying more than what Expedia quoted me, and I don’t know why they charged me when Expedia should have. Also we came to a house with one bed not even made and response from property manager was paraphrasing - “I’ll call my staff but it’s late, I hope it works out”, Seriously wow! I hope it works out? In the end we found linen in the basement and made the bed for our daughter. What a shame because it was a nice place.
