Located in the heart of Galway City, this 3-bedroomed Coach House is a beautiful contemporary private Townhouse sleeping 6 Adults in a tranquil and peaceful setting. Located So Close to the Town Centre which is just a 3- to 5-min walk from the house, local amenities are excellent. You have a beautiful home to return to at end of a long day out and about.
Tiny history: the The Coach House is our rebuild of a traditional carriage house that stood here since the mid-1800's. We worked hard to maintain stone finishes within and without the house. Beautiful now for its stone, glossy polished granite finihes within, and porcelain tiles throughout, underfloor heating completes some important comfort for our Guests, along with light-filled interiors, warmth & privacy.

Great location within easy walking distance to the shopping, pubs, cafes. Market and pharmacy just around the block. Communication with the hosts was very good. Clean property- very quiet.
The property was as advertised and in great condition. Location is good, walkable to pubs and restaurants, grocery store, the waterfront and more. Peter, the owners representative was pleasant and very responsive anytime we had a question.
Never stayed in a place so sparkling clean. Very comfortable beds, three separate bedrooms, very quiet despite being only a very short walk to town center. Fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer available for use. Off-street parking for one car with prior arrangement.
Three Americans (one family) in for a few days of exploration in Galway and Clare. Wonderful location. Quiet and removed from downtown yet only 5-10 minute walk to the heart of the city. Clean property. Wonderful and kind property owner.
The Coach house was the perfect accommodation for our family during a week stay to visit our daughter studying at the University. Walking distance to all downtown has to offer and to the lively Salt Hill area, as well as a grocery store, pharmacy, and pub all just around the corner. The house was comfortable and welcoming, plenty of options for those that wanted to stay in and relax a bit before hitting the town. Liz and her team were fantastic to work with, communicated extremely well, and were just so welcoming. It really was perfect for our 6 person party.
Despite a minor issue with the check in process that was resolved fairly quickly, we enjoyed our stay at this Townhouse. Good location for access to central Galway with bars and restaurants within five minutes' walk. The fact that there is also parking is a bonus if travelling by car.

This place was great and the listing is very accurate, no surprises. Very modern and very clean. Communication with host was no problem. The location suited our needs perfectly. Walking distance to downtown and beach. We would most definitely stay here again.
Quiet listing just off the street was as advertised with wonderful heated floors and plenty of daylight. It's just far enough from Old Town that it is super quiet, but an easy walk for food and coffee. It is also fairly close to the Sea if you like an early morning run along the Ocean. Parking was easy, but head's up on the passage way as it is a bit narrow. We made it through with a full size SUV rental though. Landlords were quick to respond to questions and we really enjoyed our stay. Galway is wonderful
Wonderful location! The house is perfect for a family, group of friends, a few couples. Lots of space, everything you need, in a great neighborhood. We were able to walk to the market for our food and easily walk downtown for our fun. Zero complaints.

Great location and a great place to stay. A 2/3-minute walk to grocery store and 2/3-minute walk to several great restaurants and pubs. Parking is available for those with a car but not necessary because the location is ideal for walking to all of the Galway attractions. We were comfortable with 5 adults and could have had 1-2 more adults with ease. I highly recommend this place. We will return soon.
Such a fun space with living area, kitchen & plenty of bedrooms and bathroom space for all of us (5 ). Kitchen could be better stocked with some basics (salt, pepper, oil) but good set up for a small group. Excellent location with tasty pub, restaurant, cafe options within walking distance. Off street parking was perfect - finding the place was a bit tricky but once you understand, it's great. Thank you to "Peter" who met us and was very helpful & responsive via text. Will totally stay here again if/when we are back in Galway!
My husband and I stayed at the Coach House with my mother in law for six nights. We found it to be conveniently located and well appointed. We could walk to the Tesco, the Latin Quarter, the bus stop, and the West End with ease. Enjoyed many evenings of live music at The Crane Bar and found a lovely coffee shop, Barista Bus, just down the road. Piotr was so friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed the bottle of wine, crackers, and Irish cheese that welcomed us. Fell in love with Ireland and hope to return soon!
This location for a city rental is unbeatable. Easy walking to the main city sites and pubs, local Tesco and other convenience stores, pharmacies and restaurants. And driving access to points north and west was also easy and we had wonderful day trips to Connamara, the Kylemore Abbey, Achill island the Shed Distillery in Drumshanbo. Won’t lie, it’s a bit scary getting in the narrow driveway with a larger car, but worth the off-street parking. The beds were new and comfy, kitchen well-appointed and lots of other conveniences provided. Very comfy living room. Wi-Fi worked well as some of us had to while away. Piter, the property manager is a gem and we really appreciated his going the extra mile to see to some special requests. Great city and time of year to be in Galway and be a send off point for west Ireland exploring.
Location, property, cleanliness, comfort, and on-site point of contact are stellar. Check-in was simple, even tho keybox was broken the day prior to arrival. Would not recommend for small or uncoordinated children, based on the marble and granite finishes. Ideal for multiple adults. Areas of potential improvement: The fireplace is apparently not functional (it was packed closed), so helpful either to have clarifying instructions or remove reference from the listing. There was no coffee grinder or maker (non-espresso), so maybe remove those references from the listing.Printed instructions on-site is super helpful, although it was outdated in important areas, so helpful to keep current or remove. Host's tone of communication was intense and felt both demanding and unhelpful. This may have been due to the fact that either host or VRBO apparently made an error and allowed us to book during a time the host did not want to have guests (although the host approved our booking request), and we did not accept the host's repeated suggestion to find alternative accommodations. We did not understand the request to wash all sinks and toilets. All other checkout requests were entirely reasonable and welcome. We appreciated the wine, cheese, crackers, and Tesco card that greeted us. The home is exceedingly well outfitted, including a juicer, fans, ample towels and closet space. Other than 3 items mentioned above, everything we needed, and more than we expected, was provided. Excellent!

This place is a gem! Clean, bright and cute with all amenities and walking distance to everything, yet privately tucked away. The hosts were accommodating and friendly and left nice welcoming touches. We had 3 couples in our party and it never felt cramped. We would definitely rent the coach house again if given the opportunity!

Wonderful property on the outskirts of Galway’s city center. Close enough to walk but just far enough for a little privacy and quiet living. House was perfect for our group of 6 ppl! And the hosts were SO friendly and helpful!
