"The room size, comfy bed, big bathroom, very well appointed. Good amenities. Breakfast could be much better for the price, and it is not included in the daily rate. There were no croissants, little variety of breads and jams, and the coffee comes from a bottle rather than an espresso machine (the coffee is much better that way). The restaurant menu could also be better, with more options. There is no reception; it is at the entrance to the restaurant and consists of someone sitting at the end of a counter serving drinks. Anyway, I imagined the hotel to be a little different, but it is a good hotel."

"I thought about giving 3 stars, but kept it to 4 because the house is lovely and the location is good. But communication was TERRIBLE. I had multiple messages go unresponded before the trip. They were no help at all in us planning our trip. The night before, I reached out because I still didn't have the address and instructions to get in the house - which was very stressful given the weeks delays in previous correspondence. I woke up the morning of the trip and finally had a response with that information. While there, I reached out to ask him to turn up the temperature on the hot tub, also noting that the water level was too low, and no response. Not even later to apologize. As a result, we could not use the hot tub. I am also a short term rental host, and I respond - it's not that hard to do. Because of this, I would not book this house again."

"I want to be able to give this hotel a higher rating because it’s very cute on the waterfront. It’s easy to park and at the very end of the tourist strip. So it’s a bit removed from the bustle but also a longer walk to get to stores etc. But my biggest issue was that the bed wasn’t comfortable. Old mattress springs and cheap linens. Also the walls are thin and floors are creaky so you do hear a lot of noises (including some kind of varmints scratching around somewhere above). Breakfast was nice "
