HOUSE RULES:
• Only the guests who made the reservation, and the people in their reservation, may stay at the house.
• No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed.
• Reservations from residents of Gainesville are not allowed. Please contact us before booking if you live in the Gainesville area.
• All check-in (4:00 PM) and check-out (10:00 AM) times are strictly enforced.
• All pets (dogs only) must be registered in advance (max. 2). There is a fee of $50 per pet.
• There is space for 4 cars. Please only park in the garage or on the driveway. No commercial vehicles are permitted.
• All Bookings may require a driver`s license prior to check-in.
• No smoking of any kind is allowed inside the house.
• No parties/events, excessive noise, and firearms are allowed anywhere on the property.
• Any illegal activities including drugs, prostitution, and possession of firearms, are prohibited.
• Exterior cameras are in use.
• Guests are financially responsible for any damages, missing items, or excessive cleanings, that were caused during their stay.
• Fees will apply if house rules are violated. Serious violations may also result in immediate eviction without refund.
• Accidents happen. If something is damaged, please just let us know and we will work out a fair resolution.

Another Great stay at the Sunshine House

This was our 3rd time staying at the Sunshine House with our family. We spent Easter weekend there & had a wonderful time! The house was spotless, beds were comfortable, and within close proximity to UF & several dining options. We look forward to staying again!

Great Stay in Gainesville

Went up for a UF game day, house was in a great location. Inside was extremely nice and clean, even better than expected. Stephen was very responsive for anything that we needed. Would definitely stay there again, everyone had a great time.

Gainesville Home

Beautiful home with a fantastic kitchen with a large island. Very comfortable and within minutes to UF campus. Host Stephen is very easy to communicate with and is a great host. This is our go to house when in Gainesville.

Return to the Sunshine House

This was our 2nd time visiting the Sunshine House, this time for our son’s 21st birthday. It did not disappoint! The house was exceptionally clean, had all kitchen amenities to make meals, & close proximity to UF & local restaurants. Our small dog loved exploring while we relaxed on the back patio. It is surrounded by a lovely, quiet neighborhood that is perfect for walking. We look forward to returning!

Sunshine House

We had a lovely time at the Sunshine House for Easter weekend & the UF Florida Relays. My husband and our 3 adult children stayed with us in the spacious home, which was in close proximity to UF, Publix, shopping & restaurants. We especially enjoyed the fenced in backyard garden area. The house was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet & shaded, which was perfect for taking walks. Stephen, the owner, was responsive & a wonderful host. We plan to be back!

The Sunshine House

The Sunshine House was perfect for all of us (including my dogs!) as we were in town for my daughter's graduation. The house is clean, very comfortable, had plenty of towels and blankets and even has a washer/dryer if needed. The kitchen is ready and well stocked for cooking, including a nice set of grill utensils. I did bring paper plates, napkins, gallon size bags, etc but only because we drove there so was able to bring stuff in the car. The home is in a quiet and safe neighborhood just minutes to Publix and very close to UF as well. Would absolutely love to stay there again if we ever travel back to Gainesville!!

Upscale home in great location

Loved loved loved the place. Perfect for our family and friend group in town to celebrate my son's graduation from veterinary art school. Would definitely stay there again if in Gainesville for a special event.

Graduation Weekend

Stayed the weekend to attend my brother’s UF graduation and we loved the house. The location is great, super close to campus and great neighborhood. The house is spacious and very well stocked with anything you’ll need and the kitchen has all the essentials. This has been one of the cleanest rentals we have stayed at. Very nicely decorated and beautiful view from the ceiling to floor window in the living/ dining room area. The host was very nice and attentive, communication was super fast. If we’re back in town this will be our go to rental for sure.

This house is beautiful with a great location! We enjoyed the openness of the house. It was the perfect size with plenty of room. It was also very clean and neatly labeled. The property manager, Stephen, was very responsive and nice to work with. We would love to stay again!

Graduation weekend

The Sunshine House is fabulous! The house was spotless and well thought out with tons of space for our group. Beds are comfortable and the lighting in the bathrooms is great! (You rarely find King beds or good lighting!!) also a great location close enough to to campus but just off the main streets. Highly recommend!!

A lovely neighborhood with birds chirping and a couple of blocks across the street a massive park. Design of outside and inside the house are top notch. Ownership has thought of every detail as the house was so fresh and so clean

Even my MOTHER loved it!

This was my first home rental experience, and I was pretty stressed about making everyone happy. If I had only read all the comments beforehand, I might have realized this house was going to be perfect. This super clean house was very spacious for our party of 5 and 2 dogs. Everyone loved the cool, updated features and decor. And like someone mentioned below, this house had more than everything we needed. I think there were 3 kinds of coffee pots, including expresso and Keurig. My furbabies appreciated exploring the yard and resting in the dog bed. Thank you so much for making this a great and relaxing trip!!!
