Upon arrival, the first thing we noticed was the overgrown weeds and the lack of care of the townhome. One of the first things we saw as we put our luggage in our rooms was a cockroach in the bathroom that my husband had to kill. We went to bed and we pulled back the covers of the bed. We found hair in all of our beds. There were also stains on my daughter's and her friends' bedding. One stain looked like blood. There were also stains on the towels. The next morning, when we went to put groceries in the refrigerator, there were what looked like baby cockroaches IN the fridge. I cleaned those out as well and was thoroughly upset by this point. The couch had stains. One of the wine glasses has a crack in it. Some of the windows have bars on them. The backyard has been neglected, and I didn't feel 100% safe here. I can overlook some things, but this is ridiculous. The host did not respond to my concerns until I reached out to VRBO. The host has not offered any solutions. I have requested a partial refund since this property was clearly not as advertised.

Liked: Check-in
Disliked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
When we first arrived, the area surrounding caught our attention as it was very run down. As we approached the house, we'd hoped that once inside our fears would be negated. But unfortunately, the property itself was not up to par. The pictures online looked great, but they are not reflective of the status of the property. Water stains, shoddy DIY enhancements, old coach cover, musty smell, etc. but, although the place was run down, it appeared to be somewhat clean. That thought did not last long. On the second day, after we spent the day at UF homecoming, we came home to 4 cockroaches crawling on the counter. Cockroaches. ugh. Don't get fooled by the pics. Run.
