"We rented a two bed apartment for 3 weeks in February. The building has 6 apartments and looks very tired looking from the exterior, certainly not like the images portrayed when browsing the property online. "Great apartment, had everything you would need, beach on doorstep, lovely pool but restrictions open 11-9 closed 3.30-5 so no early or late swim. Not very welcoming to us brits so maybe only Spanish should stay there . Nice area within 30 min walk of everything and if you want to do tourist stuff less than 10 euro by taxi. Only suggestion I would give is for there to be a little info in the apartment, luckily we had a great taxi driver from the airport so used him for everything otherwise would...

"The scenery is like something from a Spaghetti Western, so here's my review. The Good : Property had everything needed for a long stay, bottled water, logs for the burner and a fully equipped kitchen. "The furnishings are a bit dated but overall the apartments are big and comfortable with a good balcony. The swimming pool is the best we have ever experienced catering for children and adults. It is huge and is thoroughly cleaned every day before opening including all the sunbeds being hosed down . Roquetas does suffer from high winds when the sea is not good for swimming so to have this wonderful pool is a bonus."

"Beautiful house for anyone wanting peace and quiet, however house is empty most of the year and owners live abroad so nobody had checked all in order and 2 showers leaked and 1 air-condition unit not working, caretaker did what he could, owners didn’t contact us to check, also no instructions for appliances so for example we had to guess how dishwasher worked and small things were missing like a kettle"

On arrival, in the afternoon, had to drive 2 miles across town to collect keys from a coded key safe outside the agents office. No guidance on the security system and how to access garage or flat.
