"Excellent apartment with plenty of room. Modern. Big bathroom. Nice little semi private outdoor patio. Very nice common areas in 2 places; ground floor and 2nd level. Free washer and dryer. Claudia was a fantastic host. Well stocked kitchen ( just neexed a fish drainer and some kitchen towels ). When we return to the Algarve, we will stay at Cardeal for our base! Cannot say enough good things about Cardeal."

"It was off season but still had options for where to eat, shop, and to go sightsee. The taxi company they use are good and reasonably priced for when the buses weren't available. The staff were super helpful and helped me make the most of my stay. I really enjoyed it and plan to return there in the future. "
