An Island Paradise

This is a very nice property with only a few minor issues. The house is spacious with beautiful views and great amenities with a good size pool and well appointed gym. In terms of positive suggestions - our 8 day stay did not include any housekeeping and with limited linens provided we were constantly washing towels and a second set of house/gate keys would have been helpful. The kitchen is generally well appointed but lacks certain basic kitchen items. Overall though highly recommend and Madeira is an amazing island paradise.

Luxury urban stay

This home is beautifully designed and located conveniently in Funchal. The kitchen is well-stocked (especially enjoyed having an air fryer!) and I appreciated the bathrooms all had plenty of toilet paper and soap. Having a gym onsite was also a great addition. The service was impeccable, including the host meeting us on short notice late one evening after our rental car got locked into a parking garage overnight unexpectedly with the house keys in it. The photos of the house are accurate, depicting the urban setting. There was a construction site next door but only once during our week’s stay was anyone working there. There was an apartment building located between the villa and the ocean which had live music several times during our stay as well as outdoor activities during the day that were audible from the patio deck. A few minor maintenance issues were communicated to the host - nothing out of the ordinary. We would definitely recommend this villa and would stay here again.
