Amazing location, in perfect location for discovering Funchal. Staff are outstanding and breakfast buffet is excellent! Our room was very clean, nice decor and super comfy bed! Only negative for hotel is there are no views from your room (since we were out all day exploring this didn’t matter at all)

Loved this hotel. Beautiful and great location and excellent breakfast. The only tiny thing is that the gym is sooooo small. Luckily it never got too busy. The housekeeping team were SO amazing! They worked so hard, did a great job, and were so sweet and helpful as well!

Trevligt boende mitt gamla stan.

The hotel is conveniently located in the old town area of Funchal. This is close to many restaurants, near the marina (where all the tour boats go from), near public transport, taxi’s and quick Bolt pick ups, and also where the cable car goes up to Monte. The hotel itself was very nice, good rooms and staff were very helpful. We did have an issue with the drains (producing an awful smell) in our original room and after a little bit of discussion we were given a new room for the trip. Breakfast was very good.

Hotel was well located close to the marina and centre of Funchal. Room was nice enough although the view was of a neighbouring building. The gym was limited and the rooftop pool was very small and seating limited. Breakfast was okay but it was a bit of a scrum because there was limited space. Finally when we wanted the bedding changing we did as requested on the card in the room but despite requesting this on two occasions the bedding wasn’t changed which was disappointing. Not a 5 star hotel based upon previous 5 star hotels we’ve stayed at

Centrally located in town. Tons of restaurants and bars to pick from. Great hotel overall. Only disadvantage is parking is either on street or in a parking garage requiring you to bring your luggage too and from where you park.

The location is central and the hotel is beautiful. Breakfast did not offer any variety. Had to request coffee and creamers each day to be filled in the room. One of our bags broke and asked for some strong tape to wrap it but they didn’t have any to offer. They said maintenance might have but they don’t arrive until 9am and we had to leave for the airport at 6:45am. They didn’t offer any options and didn’t even mention the wrap service at the airport. We were traveling with friends and when one of them asked to refill their water bottle, they were rude and said they would not do it again and asked that we purchase the next time
