The host, Daniel, was simply a delight to meet and chat with, and gave us some really good recommendations for site-seeing which we were able to use further into our trip. "Denise is a beautiful, friendly, considerate and very welcoming landlady. Her home baked Irish breads are fantastic. We were there ten days and she baked bread for us on three separate days as gifts. Absolutely delicious. We won't hesitate in staying at her beautiful self contained property again. Any future stays in Tipperary, she will be our first port of call. Thanks Denise, you are amazing."

"This was a very lovely house, however there was an oil leak with a VERY STRONG ODOR !! This odor gave me a headache. The owner was aware of this problem because her son came over shortly after we arrived, said that they would get someone out to repair it but after 4 nights it was not repaired.. The electric tea kettle had so much red liquid sediment in it I was afraid to use it .. The liquid hand soap dispenser was almost empty in the bathroom. No extra toilet paper was provided."

"Yvonne and Peter couldn't be more accommodating! Yvonne met us to discuss the cottage. She had nice touches to make everything cozy. It was incredibly clean! We felt at home immediately! It was a wonderful base camp for Kilkenny and several other places. We loved Portlaoise and enjoyed several trips into town ( only a 10 minute drive) We loved their dogs and enjoyed spending time getting to know them. ( Our choice, they are very respectful of privacy) I absolutely recommend their place 100%!!"

"Das Grundstück und die zwei Häuschen sind mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Alles sehr schön und gut ausgestattet. Sehr sauber. Jedoch sehr abgelegen und die Anfahrt doch etwas beschwerlich. Wir hätten uns gewünscht, dass wir einen Kontakt in der Nähe gehabt hätten, der uns auch etwas einweisen hätte können. Der Vermieter ist in Amerika. Er war zwar sehr bemüht uns bei Problemen zu helfen, aber ein persönlicher Kontakt wäre einfach sinnvoller gewesen. Für Gruppen und Familien sehr zu empfehlen."
