"Booked an overnight room really quickly without really reading description, suddenly dreaded I’d booked something terrible, however upon arrival I realised it actually wasn’t that bad. We had a basic room, there were 4 single beds, draws and a ceiling fan that was it. Toilets were across the hall. There is a communal living area with sofas, tv, dining table, large fridge freezer, microwave and tea making facilities for everyone to use. Free secure parking at back. Building is old and some signs of damp but didn’t smell bad and fairly clean. Actually slept quite well and would consider returning. There is a great Mexican restaurant downstairs. Ferry terminal is across the road and train bus terminal only couple mins walk away. My only suggestions to make stay better is some handsoap and paper towels in toilet, shower head could do with replacing in women’s shower it sprayed every way but down, and rear doors from beer garden smells of urine. "

"A early arrival caused us to contact owner to arrange for assistance with luggage storage. Units are self check in and involve a simple process. Owner was very obliging and soon made a very helpful arrangement to allow us to go sightseeing.Spacious well appointed unitis recommended."

"Staff, service and food were AMAZING. The room is a classic pub room, unfortunately ours had a pretty strong bad smell, and the shower was incredibly difficult to regulate the temperature. The bed was pretty comfy and the place was really clean. Had a coffee machine, milk, iron and ironing board, and hair dryer."

"Beautiful hotel in the centre of Fremantle. Amazing room with state of the art fittings and a complimentary bar fridge. Superb breakfast at Anglesea topped it off. Will be back."
