A Home Full of Historic Character
Honey’s Haus is approximately 1,450 square feet and retains the charm of its 1930s origins while offering the updates and amenities expected for a comfortable getaway. Original longleaf pine floors add warmth and character throughout the home, while the thoughtfully updated interior provides a comfortable setting for couples, families or friends traveling together.
The home features a comfortable living room, full kitchen, outdoor sitting area and gas firepit—perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing, shopping or exploring the Hill Country.
Sleeping Arrangements
Honey’s Haus offers three bedrooms and two full bathrooms:
• Downstairs King Bedroom: A comfortable king bed and one of the home's most distinctive features—a beautiful antique clawfoot tub/shower combination.
• Downstairs Full Bedroom: A cozy bedroom with a full-size bed. Please note that this bedroom is accessed either through the glassed-in porch and is the entry for the upstairs bedroom.
• Upstairs King Bedroom: The third bedroom is located in the home's finished half-story and features a king bed. Access via the full bedroom off glass porch. Steep stairs as characterized by early German architecture. Low ceiling along side of room.
With two king beds and one full bed, Honey’s Haus comfortably accommodates a variety of guest configurations.
Two Unique Bathrooms
The downstairs bathroom features an antique clawfoot tub with shower, adding a touch of historic elegance to the home.
The upstairs bathroom includes a jetted bathtub with a handheld shower, providing a relaxing place to unwind after a day spent exploring Fredericksburg and the surrounding Hill Country.
Relax Outside
After a day in town, come back to Honey’s Haus and enjoy the outdoor space. Gather around the gas firepit, relax with a glass of Texas wine, and enjoy the slower pace of Hill Country evenings.
Whether you're spending the day touring wineries, shopping Main Street, visiting museums or simply enjoying time together, Honey’s Haus gives you a comfortable home base to return to.

And don't forget dessert! Clear River is a Fredericksburg favorite for ice cream and other sweet treats—perfect for ending an evening downtown.
A Few Things to Know Before Booking
Honey’s Haus is a historic 1930s home, and some of its original characteristics remain part of its charm.
The third bedroom and second bathroom are located in the home's finished half-story. The stairs leading to this area are the original stairs from the 1930s and are steeper than modern residential stairs. Guests should be comfortable using steep stairs.
Because this is a half-story, the ceilings are lower along portions of the perimeter, and taller guests will need to pay attention to the ceiling height.
The upstairs bedroom and bathroom are accessed by walking through the glassed-in porch. The second downstairs bedroom is also accessed by the glassed-in porch.
These characteristics are important to consider when determining whether Honey’s Haus is the right fit for your group.
Your Fredericksburg Home Base
Whether you're planning a girls' getaway, romantic Hill Country weekend, family vacation, wine-country adventure or simply looking for a comfortable place to experience Fredericksburg, Honey’s Haus offers something special: historic character, modern comforts and an enviable location close to the best of town.
Enjoy your morning coffee at home, stroll into town for shopping and lunch, spend the afternoon exploring Fredericksburg or the surrounding wine country, then return to Honey’s Haus for an evening around the firepit.
At Honey’s Haus, you don't just stay in Fredericksburg—you get to experience the charm of the town from a home that is part of its history.
