"This property has a big problem that you only realise on arrival. There are 134 narrow and steep steps (around 8 storeys) to climb to bring up your luggage (and groceries during your stay). When travelling with an infant and a pregnant wife this is far from ideal. Once you make it up, though, the view pays off the climb. It is stunning! "There are about 25 apartments in Colina Verde B - ours was closest to the pool and there was almost nobody else there - the pool was essentially our private pool. Nice clean place, beautiful setting, 7 minutes to the waterfront by car. Ascona is a lovely little place with a lively waterfront scene. All in all, ne of the best spots we have ever rented. "

"Good communication with Christian @ happy home rentals, a large apartment, a 2 seater couch was a shame but ok. we missed ventilators / airco so with 30+ degrees was very uncomfortable in the evenings. Kitchen with fridge / freezer was great. Coffee machine was also good. Beds were comfy and plenty of space for all luggage 👍"

"The property is spectacularly situated, but is somewhat difficult to find, one has to cross the neighbours’ ground to approach. The appartment was reasonably tidy, but the furniture needs refurbishment. The lower compartiment is used for storage of garden equipment and is severely smelling (fuel damps of the grassmower) and can therefore not be used as a sleeping facility. "Lovely hotel on a nice square. The hotel very much up to date and beautifully kept. Staff were exceptional, super friendly and very efficient. Breakfast was excellent with great choice available. Everything superbly organised and nothing was too much trouble Bedroom was functional with a very well appointed bathroom with large shower. Condition of the hotel was excellent. Would definitely recommend and stay again. "
