"I was amazed by how clean and well kept this property was! And fully stocked with everything you need. Host was great with communication, before during and and after! They gave some recommendations with places to see and so glad, because we had no clue on what we wanted to do. Spring break 2024 was a success with this place! "My wife and I absolutely loved our 4-night stay at the Golden Ridge Cabin. This was the best thought-out vacation rental we have seen yet. The drawers/cabinets and switches were all clearly labeled. We brought our own cookware and whatnot but didn't use them because all kitchen gadgets and doodads were already present! The furniture was comfy and just right for the space. "Location is perfectly central to all that we wanted to do. Size & amenities were great. We enjoyed the visits for the neighborhood cat. Host very attentive. Only wish he had more vacation homes just like this one, because we were unable to book with him next year for the same week. He was so helpful in trying to find us another location near this one. "We had a relaxing trip. When we arrived Crystal had hid 72 eggs all around the property. The kids, even the teenagers, loved it after travelling in the car. The cabin is so neat and vintage. We made Lego flowers, clay creations, enjoyed porch sitting and Yokums hot dogs are the very best! We had a wonderful Easter dinner in the kitchen. The day after Easter we toured Smokehole Caverns. We made memories that we will never forget."

"Fri & Sat night in Mid May. Just like it’s listed. Beautiful. Country. Gravel roads. Pond in the very back of house. 3 bedrms, 2 bath. Big den/living room. Kitchen was ready for us coffee drinkers! Nice snacks & homemade danish ❤️. Comfy beds, quiet surroundings, beautiful horses, and I wish we had more time to hang out in the neighborhood. Fire pit ready to go. Deck is really nice. Bit of a drive to JMU, but…. The drive is beautiful."
