Frachey-Alpe Ciarcerio Funicular

Do not go to hotel demo, if you do not want to have bed bug bites a week later and sleep in a bed with yellow and brown stains on the sheets. Also it is quite far outside of the city in a very rough area. I have traveled quite a bit, but travelling from linate airport to this hotel was not an experience I would repeat. This hotel is very old fashioned with an eerie, tight, old fashioned and shaky lift to get up to the next floor. The staff were ok but not the most friendly in the world. Also if you are not a dwarf, you will not be able to fit in this tiny shower cubicle as it is the most cramp shower I have ever been in. Your key take away from this review should be: if you want a pleasant night in Milan DO NOT stay in hotel demo!!!

Hotel is a very short walk from the Central station. It was quiet. AC worked well. Room was small but had everything. Bathroom nice. Breakfast buffet was ok but a bit modest.

I was a little worried that the room was going to be very basic but it was better than I thought. Room was very clean and was ideal for 2 people. Air con worked well. Very close to the train station so a good base.
