"It appears the property is like a renovated motel. Room was adequate. No bed bugs. Bed was very firm. Heat worked well on cold desert nights. Shower had a good flow. It was leaking which we reported. Shower curtain had that red bacteria on the bottom but it wasn't frightening. Bathroom door had some dirty finger prints. Check in was easy and friendly. Parking was right outside the door. Location is perfect if you want to be near the Big Bend Panther Creek Junction entrance. Close to Terlingua and other dining and drinking options. Gas station and Cottonwood Grocery is nearby. No hangers and the hooks to hang things are very tall. Offers a small frig and microwave.

"The house was great! It was well stocked with plenty of paper goods, toilet paper, paper towels etc and ample bathroom towels and wash cloths. And the host responded promptly when we had questions. The airplane cockpit was a big hit with the kids. They enjoyed sleeping in the bedroom in the airplane. We all loved the night skies. We also hiked the private trail on the property and enjoyed the views. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving!"

"It was very smooth and exactly as advertised. A/C was working really well. Has a nice 1 person shower and bathroom. Has running water, but on catchment system so encouraged appropriate water conservation. Overall Wilma was great, very communicative and helpful. We had no issues. The only minor thing was VRBO sent a message with an access code, but in reality it was the code Wilma sent in direct message that was what we needed to unlock the door. Not her fault, just a touch confusing. Overall highly recommend, and a beautiful property! "

"Great Property - 45 minutes from Big Bend park ! Before you arrive print or photograph directions as no internet! Small but comfortable place for 4 people! Bring water-beautiful stars at night! "

"This spot is way out there. Make sure to get gas and food before you go! It was a great spot and no one was near us (at least on this night). Would highly recommend!"
