We had a wonderful stay at Carmel Cumbuco Resort and would highly recommend it. The resort itself is beautiful, with spacious and well-appointed rooms — the only minor suggestion we would make is to add a chair to the room, which would make it even more comfortable. The real highlight of our stay, however, was the exceptional service from the staff. Carol and Joaquim in the café and restaurant were warm, attentive and a pleasure to interact with throughout our stay. Special mention must go to Vinicius at the bar, who went above and beyond to look after us and truly elevated our experience. It is rare to encounter service at this level and it made all the difference. Thank you to the whole team at Carmel Cumbuco — we hope to be back!

This isn't just the best hotel in or near Fortaleza, this is one the best hotels I have ever stayed at in my entire life. The staff are everywhere catering to your every need, they are always cleaning and dusting and making the place perfect. A lot of them reminded me of late 90's early 2000's Disney staff. The kind that wouldn't just kiss your butt, but they'd wipe it for you too. The grounds are immaculate, the pool refreshing, the amenities incredible. The little details are where this place shines. To someone with the eye for perfection, they have just about mastered the little things. Make sure you check-in outside. Where else can you do that? I don't know what constitutes a 5 star hotel, but this place is damn close. Totally worth the 6.5 hour flight from Miami. Plus! You can't beat that exchange rate! It's like everything is 80% off! Nitpicks: 1. Service at the restaurant always seemed a bit slow. I like having some water immediately and then a drink before we talk about food. 2. The pool bar and dining room desperately needed some of that music that was playing elsewhere around the pool. There were speakers just none of them on. 3. Not many staff speak English. This is a ridiculous nitpick as this is Brazil not America, but it is worth pointing out to anyone traveling here. Portuguese is very difficult to learn. Knowing some Spanish helps. 4. Rocky beach/ocean for those that like ocean swimming be careful We will be back, and soon!

Cumbuco is a wonderful hotel with great facilities. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They went out of there way to speak English with us which was very kind. Food excellent, pool really nice. Great service

Quarto é amplo e limpo, ainda assim recomendo trocar o sofá por 2 camas de solteiro, o 3o e 4o hóspede ficariam mais confortáveis; a equipe de garçons é sensacional; café da manhã excelente!! Na praia não tem guarda sol ou barraca, pecam muito nesse quesito… pois vc acaba ficando pouco e desconfortável no sol forte. Não tem serviço de praia também não. A vista da praia nos quartos é bem prejudicada… talvez se ficar no 4o andar, tenha uma visão melhor, não sei. Os pratos tem preços elevados e pouca quantidade. Na saída, tentei comprar uma bolsa do hotel, paguei e esperei mais de 15min para receber a bolsa, contudo veio uma bolsa usada/manchada! Frustrante. Pedi devolução do valor e acabei sem bolsa.

Nossa experiência no Carmel foi muito boa e tivemos momentos especiais durante a estadia. O hotel é lindo, confortável e a equipe da recepção merece destaque pela atenção, simpatia e cuidado em todos os atendimentos. Como ponto de melhoria, senti uma diferença no atendimento de alguns funcionários do bar, que foram mais frios e pouco receptivos. Recebemos um voucher de welcome drink e, nesse momento, por exemplo, o atendimento foi bastante impessoal. Pela proposta e padrão do hotel, esperávamos uma experiência mais acolhedora e calorosa em todos os setores. No café da manhã, a qualidade das comidas estava excelente, porém percebemos demora na reposição de alguns itens que acabavam. Também pedimos uma tapioca que levou cerca de uma hora para ser servida, o que acabou impactando a experiência. Ainda assim, tivemos uma ótima estadia e saímos com boas lembranças. Com alguns ajustes no atendimento e na agilidade do café da manhã, a experiência pode se tornar ainda mais especial.

O hotel é maravilhoso . Os quartos são limpos e grandes . Funcionários prestativos e educados. Vista maravilhosa pro mar. Café da manhã poderia ter sido melhor pelo valor da diária.
