Our stay at this location was excellent! The "cabin" is comfortable,impeccably clean and felt like home. I really didn't want to leave. The host was gracious and prompt with any questions or concerns. I would go back in a heart beat.

We had a great Memorial Day weekend. Quiet with a peaceful creek was a great way to decompress. Seating on the front porch was great for morning coffee and a beverage in the evening.

I have stayed a lot of rental properties in my life and this is one of the absolute best. From the get-go this property was the exact right size and in the exact location (a couple hours outside of DC) for our short weekend trip over the 4th of July. When we arrived, everything was spotless: the bedrooms, the bathrooms, the kitchen, the linens, the floors -- everything. The place smelled NEW. The dual decks are perfectly fitted on the sides of the house to avoid too much sun but still take in the nature around you. The beds were soft and comfy as well. We had three kids with us and also really appreciated the child-friendly touches in the chalet, such as lots of kids toys and games, a zipline and a room in the back with three beds! Communication with the host was also very good, and she gave us permission to bring a kiddie pool and use the spigot to fill it on the back deck. That was a lifesaver on such a hot weekend! Meanwhile, the kitchen was full stocked and had virtually everything we needed (except for aluminum foil!). And the fire pit was really nice; it included a grill on top that allowed us to cook our meat and fish for our meals. We really enjoyed staying here over the weekend and are already trying to find another weekend to come back!
