Cabin, romantic, peaceful, beautiful view

At Rusty Barn our country cabin is ideal for a romantic get away or a great place to stay after a long day of work. It is located near the front of our small 80 acre working ranch overlooking the property.

The cabin is designed for a quiet get-a-way with comfort and convenience in mind.

The one-bedroom cabin has a king size bed, large walk-in shower, two leather recliners, satellite TV, and walk in closet with apartment sized washer and dryer.

The cabin is equipped with WIFI, central heat and air, and plenty of large windows for natural lighting.

The entry foyer has a kitchenette with dining table for two, refrigerator, ice machine, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, and all the kitchenware you might need.

The outdoor grilling area consist of a covered paver patio overlooking the property, TRAEGER wood pellet grill, Blackstone griddle, gas fire pit, and Adirondack rocking chairs, radio/Bluetooth outdoor speaker.

We also have a wood fire pit under the sky located near the covered patio area, if that is more your style.

To complete the experience, we have an exclusive guest shop that you are welcome to browse through at your convenience. We specialize in unique home furnishings, collectibles, custom knives and more.


We are committed to customizing your stay with special requests. Upon completion of booking we can arrange for special occasions, food, beverages, grilling supplies and more.

While at the ranch you are welcome to take walking tours around the property. We have a live freshwater creek within easy walking access. You can visit our enclosed tower wildlife observation stand near the back of the property where deer and wild hogs may be seen early and late in the day.

During your stay expect it to be calm and relaxing. We are a working ranch however your privacy and relaxation will be our goal.

Peaceful getaway

Came here to get away for the weekend. The cabin and the property are beautiful and the hosts have thought of everything you could need. The bed is so soft and comfortable! We went for a walk on their trails and really enjoyed it. This was a great place to get away and relax! I hope to return soon! Thank you Kristal!

Serenity Place

Weekend getaway

Beautiful property, very quiet and peaceful. Love the cabin, it had every amenity you could ever need, everything is new and very well thought out. Krystal, the hostess, was excellent with communicating from the minute I booked the cabin until we were leaving. Very professional and very sweet too. Will definitely rent there again!

Tranquil Getaway for Couples

We loved our stay at the Rusty Barn. The cabin was immaculate, and we were delighted with the special touches the host left for us. The hosts thought of everything anyone would need during their stay. If you're looking for a relaxing, peaceful getaway, this is the place to go. We enjoyed exploring their hiking trails on their ranch and the location was perfect for us to travel to other attractions like Broken Bow, Beavers Bend State Park and the Beavers Bend Safari Park in Hochatown, OK. Great vacation and lots of good memories.

Fabulous Farm Stay

The Rusty Barn is an amazing place to stay. Beautiful, peaceful and so comfy! The host contacted me the day of our arrival which was nice. Then she met us there and gave us a little tour of the place. She had candles burning and cupcakes for us since my hubby and I have the same birthday. It was so sweet. Hospitality is top notch. She also has a cute gift shop there to get some souvenirs. We can’t wait to go back!

Romantic Anniversary Getaway

For our 24th anniversary we were looking for something to enjoy some us time. The stay at the Rusty Barn was exactly what we were looking for. It was a real gem for a romantic weekend getaway located peacefully in the country. The hospitality received was top notch from Kristal through out our stay. Simply amazing

This property was beautifully decorated and super cozy! It had everything needed and some extra goodies! I loved the personal touches throughout the house and outdoors. The bed was super comfortable. Kristal and Mark were so welcoming and accommodating! Our favorite part was walking the property and sitting outside enjoying the night sky! We didn’t want to leave and hope to visit again!

5 Star Rusty Barn!

My wife and I greatly enjoyed the Rusty Barn. When we travel we prioritize cleanliness and a unique outdoor experience. The Rusty Barn offers both, and does it well. The small cabin in very clean and very well decorated. The host was extremely thoughtful and a great communicator. The cabin is located on a large ranch, with everything you need for a relaxing outdoor experience.

Perfect anniversary getaway!

Upon arrival we were greeted with an amazing attitude and Krystal was so sweet! Once we got into the cabin they had cookies and a “happy anniversary balloon” out for us. It was so thoughtful and we really appreciated the effort she put in to make our stay amazing! The s’mores were amazing and so was hanging out by the fire pit. The cows were super sweet and we got some amazing pictures in on the property as well! The bed was also like sleeping on a cloud and we enjoyed the big shower and robes. Overall it was just an amazing getaway and an even better anniversary. We will definitely be coming back soon!!!

Beautiful little space, perfect for a getaway.

Arriving to the property was a little confusing at first, but the Host was amazing at communicating and made sure we got there safely. The cabin was absolutely beautiful, everything was perfectly in place and it was decorated to make you feel like you were at a spa getaway, the bed felt heavenly, I slept so well. The host was so sweet and even put sweet touches like cupcakes for my husband birthday, it was so special. The only thing was it needed a full sized mirror and it was a little far from hochatown and Broken Bow, but I felt like it was sooo worth it 10/10 for sure.

Amazing Cabin Experience

Kristal and Mark are very hospitable. We arrived at the property later than expected but Kristal met us at the cabin and gave us a tour anyway. The bed is probably the most comfortable I’ve slept on. Plenty of fresh clean towels were provided and the shower was easy to operate. There’s a trail on the property that makes for a good hike to enjoy the outdoors. There’s a grill as well. Mark was extremely helpful and made sure we knew how to use it properly. We’ll definitely be staying again in the future! Highly recommend for couples needing a quick weekend getaway!

Absolutely Amazing

I can not say enough how incredibly relaxing it was here at the rusty barn. Our host was so very sweet and helpful. They live right next door, but you would never even know it. You have complete privacy !! She knew we were there for our anniversary so when we arrived there was a “Happy Anniversary” balloon with 2 incredibly delicious cupcakes waiting on us. We got in pretty late but she waited! She made sure we were okay with everything and comfortable and showed us around a bit. The shower? Amazing…took a 2 hour shower lol. The bed? I could have slept for hours and hours. I didn’t move a bit at night! Everything is just so cute and so perfect. We will most definitely be back!!!Daniel and Laura Turner Grandview, Texas

The cabin exceeded our expectations and was super clean. Kristal was very welcoming. The property was flat out beautiful… like the shire from Lord of the Rings. We enjoyed every bit of it with our young son. We can’t wait to come back!

All about the experience!

It was clear the host is concerned about the experience. To many details to mention, the entire property inside and the surrounding grounds is well designed and kept neat with a clean feeling. Antiques on display, repurposed items, and fresh renovation in a farm setting make this a delightful place to stay.

My husband and I stayed for one night (not long enough) on a quick anniversary trip. It was beautiful! The photos actually don't do the property justice...very peaceful. The accommodations were perfect and everything we needed was right there. We would love to do a longer trip soon!
