The hotel itself was great! We had 2 rooms, one of them did have a loud A/C unit that made a loud noise. Luckily we had one in our group that was hard of hearing and worked great for her. The parking lot wasn’t enough for the way others parked! Needs better parking.

The description of the hotel on Expedia and also on their own website was very misleading. It said that there was a restaurant and lounge, etc. The hotel has been under renovation for a few years and doesn't have any restaurant, lounge, breakfast area, etc. Very disappointed.

This was a mixed experience. the location of the hotel is great and the history is interesting. The staff members were polite and kind. however, our room had carpeting and an old toilet that both needed to be replaced. The ice machine went out a few weeks ago and there had been no effort to fix it.

Lupe was incredible and has always been incredible to work with. Our team travels often to Alpine and we ALWAYS choose to stay at The Holland because of the wonderful staff and the accommodations. They are friendly, professional, and amazingly helpful. We are so grateful for Lupe!

Location was under renovation but it is a historic hotel and the carpet was going to be replaced and our AC went out but they quickly moved us to a new room . Will stay again on our next visit as our son goes to college there and it’s in walking distance to the university.

I loved the history of the hotel. I was disappointed that the restaurant and bar were closed for renovations. Loved that the hotel was walking distance to bar & grills.

気になった点 : 設備とサービス
Built in 1928 I thought I would have been staying in a rustic but comfortable hotel. However there is no restaurant, I couldn't get a cup of coffee downstairs in the morning, the bar was shut down, the rooms are gray and murky, only 1 usable wall outlet and it was on the far side so I had to plug my phone in on the other side of the room, on the floor. The hotel could be refurbished to modern standards yet keep its history.

Easy and friendly check in. Feels more like a hybrid fact/hotel hybrid. Rooms were clean and dining area/check in was clean. Wish this had more and hope the area around gets rebuilt to bring more dining options that complement the hotel. The service portion is there- very friendly. Hope century bar and grill or a breakfast location opens nearby.

The staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean and quaint. If you are used to air conditioning, the rooms are cool, each room have individual units. Cooling can be inconsistent. Parking is very limited. Restaurant is closed and no swimming pool. There is a cute courtyard to enjoy your morning coffee. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will come back.

Preserving historic hotels is always a win; but the Holland is due for room updates past the current bar-restaurant-lounge area renovations. Rooms were minimally serviced an d cleaned and staff was hard to find even during the day. Carpet was old, stained and dingy, lamp shades stained, thick dust build up on baseboards and door jams, tub grout mildewed and hardware caked with hard water debris.
