"Was in an accident on our way to the cabin and had to turn around and go home. I messaged the property manager to let them know nobody will be in the cabin and we were sorry for any inconvenience to them. His response: "sorry to hear that. The weather is perfect" thanks dude... wont be rebooking"

"Excellent stay. Property was as described. Really enjoyed walking down to the river and the screen porch. Beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Check in: We checked 1.5 hours after check in time and the cleaner was still there. I wish the host communicated this when I called an hour out to ask for check in instructions. Cabin description: It said three bedrooms, there was only one bedroom with a door, the other two were lofts. The third loft had exposed electrical outlet and the ladder/stairs were wobbly. Only one shower in the cabin, other bathroom had only a tub. The fireplace had the glass pane missing, the host said it was still usable, but we didn’t feel comfortable. The sofa bed was dirty and the other couple didn’t want their kids to sleep on it. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, there was no cabin space. The front loader washer had mildew and required high efficiency detergent. The kids loved the hot tub and we enjoyed the fire pit. We used the grill and loved sitting on the porch drinking coffee. It was so cold the first day and the heater didn’t stay on during the night or when we left and came back, it got down to low 60s, but the next day was warmer. Host said it was climate controlled. Lake nearby was awesome, my son enjoyed fishing and using the canoe and kayaks. Only one TV in the living room, not enough seating for 8 people, only one couch, one arm chair and one recliner that didn’t recline all the way. Close to parks, beautiful property, just surprised at size and other issues mentioned above. Wouldn’t stay here again with 8 people.4 adults, 4 kids and 3 dogs. "

"We loved staying at this cozy cabin! Perfect for our family and dog. Pretty walk down to the river, quiet, had everything we needed, fire pit was fun too! The hot tub was the best part to end the day! The host was great and so easy to communicate with! Reminder: you are in the woods so we did deal with a lot of wasps inside the downstairs bedroom and found one scorpion hanging out our first night. We couldn’t figure out how a large amount of wasps were entering the house But this stuff is to be expected in the woods i guess! We used the Waze App and it tried taking us the wrong way to the property so just note for future renters! Don’t use Waze..use Apple Maps or Google MapsWe can’t wait to come back!"

"I loved the screened in porch space and proximity to DeSoto falls. I was just 5 min drive to trailhead. Owner was also a good commicator. Great way to enjoy long weekend over spring break. "

"This was our third time staying here and each time we have added on an extra day or two. It is calm, peaceful and exactly what we needed to decompress. The location at the end of a quiet gravel road set above the river is perfect."
