Great stay at walking distance from beach

Property is as advertised. Jason was prompt and responsive. Next door neighbor is very friendly :). Publix very close to home. Had a great time - family of four.

The house is clean and is in a great location with easy access to the beach. We largely rented it because of the great backyard / pool. We wish we could have used the pool in the evenings but the mosquitoes were relentless. We purchased six bug-repellent candles but they were not helpful. A net over the pool would be a wonderful investment. We ran out of both paper towels and toilet paper so we had to purchase more for the property. All of the beach umbrellas were broken so we purchased two and donated them for future renters’ use. We also added a volleyball and pool inflatables.All in all, it’s a nice property with cute beach decor. The location is convenient.

Toes in the Sand

We loved our stay at Toes in the Sand on Ft Myers Beach. The beach house was great for us and the location was perfect. Easy walk to groceries and the beach. No need to get stuck in the island traffic. Had everything we wanted. Would definitely book again and have already recommended it to friends!

Awesome stay in Fort Myers Beach

We've had a really good time staying in this small house close to the Beach. Very good equipment in the kitchen and for the beach. Unfortunatelly some things were already broken and there was just 4 chairs (for 6 people) but since a couple of us were usually in the water we made it work out. Beach Towels are in the house, Publix very close but quite expensive so we have used our trips to restaurants to get groceries in Walmart.Since there is not a lot of restaurants open on Fort Myers Beach itself we drove to the restaurants but you have to take into consideration the rush hour off Fort Myers Beach (took us up to 45mins to leave the island).But communication with the landlord was just excellent! He helped us out with information and check in went smooth. No additional charges for bbq grill/pool heat which I thought was very cool.I would recommend to stay there but with no more than 6 people.

Girls getaway

Had a wonderful time. House was darling. it would have been helpful to know that one of the bathrooms was only a 1/2 bath. Maybe it did say that, and I missed it...it was sometime a challenge with 6 women trying to get ready. could also use a LARGE fry pan. no pan was big enough to make enough scrambled eggs for 6 people.

Absolutely perfect for our family.

The house was perfect for our blended family (me, girlfriend, 16, 13, and 6). There was the right mix of beach toys, chairs, cooler, wagon, beach stuff, and the right distance to the beach to either walk or drive less than half a mile to public parking. The house was recently updated and was very clean and comfortable. The pool in the back is nice to keep our kiddos corraled while we cooked and prepared for the next fun activity. The location was also perfect being located at the halfway point of the island a stone's toss to the Publix grocery store and a couple of restaurants. Oh, and we had the great fortune of meeting Brian the neighbor who also happens to help with property maintenance. My rental car battery kept dying, and Brian graciously let us borrow his portable jump starter for a couple days. He would give the shirt off his back. We will definitely try to get this place again when we return.

Amazing Little House

This is the first time back in the last two years since the hurricane and we were so excited to find this house. Everything is just as perfect as it's described, even though it seems to good to be true when you read the description, see all the things it comes with, and look through al the pictures! We used the bikes several times to ride up to the north end. There is an ice machine and they also provide ice bags which came in extremely handy to head to the beach! We had an absolute amazing time. Even the neighbor was wonderful! The only wo pieces of information I would have wanted to know which understandably is hard with VRBO not giving out the exact address until 3 days ahead of time. This house is just a few streets in off the corner of Estero and Bayland drive but still just a short couple minute walk to the beach and the closest beach access is also incredibly easy located directly across from Bayland drive. It's hard to tell by current google pictures what is accessible and what's not but there is a sidewalk straight out to the beach. Everything that can be open is open while it might look a little different. The same beach vibe is there, bars are open, live music is playing even though there is still a lot of work to be done. Get out stay in this house and visit Fort Myers!

We had a good stay at Toes in the Sand. It was a quiet location right across the street from the beach and just a street over from Publix. Close enough to shopping and restaurants, but far enough away to be relaxing and quiet. The ice maker was a nice plus and there was plenty of beach gear and a cart to carry it all. Definitely good value for the money!

Property was just as advertised. Very clean and excellent amenities. We especially liked the bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, and foldable wagon. They made our trips to the beach very convenient. The backyard and pool area were great for low key evenings.

Wow, great place!

Wow, just wow! We loved this house. It was close to all we needed, but the property was great all by itself! Although we could go to the beach, the pool and yard were just as fun! Plenty of room to play yard games (our teen boys played corn hole for hours). The proximity to the beach and grocery store was helpful. Also, local bus access was easy, and the property had five new cruiser-style bicycles for use.Inside the house had all the amenities you would expect, with plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was well supplied.We hated leaving and can't wait to stay again!

Great location in recovering area

Great outdoor space with easy walk to the beach. Grocery store around the corner which was very convenient. The beach was great- no large crowds due to the reconstruction of homes and condos n the area. Dolphins, ospreys, and shells galore. Owner was very helpful and responsive.

Great Family Vacation

The outdoor space was the game changer here. The backyard was nicely done to accommodate hanging outside most of your trip. The pool was the highlight. It was larger than expected and the deep end was 5 foot deep. Our 5 kids (ages 9-14) played in it daily and multiple times. Outdoor games and plenty of seating (in the sun and in shade) were provided. The walk to the beach was 5 mins and nice. Publix was great as we could easily walk there. Only negative is the lack of restaurants within walking distance. The Snook Bight Marina behind Publix had a cheap and expensive restaurant. Both were good. All other dining out options you needed to drive as they were 3 miles away. We found it easiest to head south and go to Naples to go out to eat. We had the max of 8 guests. We fit but the pull out couch is just that, not a real bed. Kids had to bunk up, which was okay with us. Loved it and will come back!

Met all our needs!

Toes in the Sand was perfect for our family. The backyard space was great! Easy walk to the beach and Publix. Beach chairs, cooler, umbrella and wagon made the short walk to the beach easy. The area of beach close to us wasn’t crowded so that was a bonus! Farther from restaurants but we were on vacation and not in a hurry to get anywhere.

Great family vacation home

2 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 preschool children immensely enjoyed the backyard. Plenty of room to play! Adequate room inside. Walk to the beach was an easy walk. Publix within walking distance. Located in mid-island, the beach was not crowded at all!Jason, the host, was responsive and very helpful to our questions.

Fun in the sun

Property was decorated nicely and very clean. The backyard was amazing and included salt water heated pool. Walking distance to grocery store, very short walk to beach and bicycles if you choose. Beds were super comfy. Owner was attentive and answered questions very quickly. Next door neighbor was great too!

Wonderful property

We were very pleased with this property. It was clean and packed with amenities! A fully supplied kitchen with an additional ice maker in the back hall. The beds were very comfortable for us. The backyard was very inviting with the pool/pool toys along with some outside games for kids and adults. We loved that it was just a short walk to the beach. The owner Jason was very friendly and responsive which was great! I would also like to add that the neighbor guy was very kind and helpful.
