"It’s a very special place, especially for those who want solitude and natural beauty. The house is a rustic farmhouse. The kitchen is new and very nice. The bedrooms are a mix of queen beds, bunk beds, and a small room with a full size (tight fit). The house is bigger than the two of us need, but the property is so beautiful it’s worth it to us. We do day excursions to surrounding sights, but mostly we hang out on the lawn by the small pond and creek and read, plus stare at the expansive view!"

"This rental was a lovely surprise—clean, cozy, and well cared for. The soft sheets and well-appointed kitchen made it feel like home, and the thoughtful gift of chips and delicious salsa from the host was especially appreciated, particularly in such a remote location. The only downside was the access to the river; it could use some maintenance and trimming to make it more accessible. Still, overall a wonderful stay in a peaceful setting!"

"The ranch is beautiful!! Douglas and his wife were so welcoming and wanted to ensure our 6 year old had as wonderful of a time as we did. The cottage was clean and had ample supplies for cooking our meals. We felt very safe and it was so quiet and peaceful. Our son enjoyed the pool and feeding the animals. Thank you so much for everything!"

"This little house was perfect for our long weekend in Etna California. Very close to town but cozy and quiet. In the morning deer would be eating grass in the backyard. The kitchen is very well stocked and plenty of seating. Didn’t get to use the fireplace, but it looked cute. We would definitely stay here again. "

"The house was set up really well for guests and could fit a lot of people. It was also very open and light and airy and nice to be in. The fenced front yard was awesome to have for my son. In terms of location - it's not walkable to anything, but it's a very easy drive to the nearby towns. "
