"I had an overnight stay to catch the flight to Townsville. The Hotel is close to the Domestic Terminal, buses and rail to the city. It is an easy, short walk from the Domestic terminal to this Hotel. The Hotel is also close to buses going from the Domestic Terminal to the International Terminal. As with all Ibis establishments I found the room clean and comfortable with no noise from aircraft departing or landing."

"I had a late check in, so I followed the after hours process. This was well communicated and easy to follow. The room was nice, clean but needed a little updating. As it was dark when I arrived on the Saturday night, I only got to see the view in the morning, which I was looking forward to as the images on their website looked lovely. Well, I hope the entire resort was booked out as I could not see any reason to give us the room above the reception roof, all you could see were 3 different roof lines, so that was disappointing! When I went to check out, this was the first interaction with any staff member, I was hoping she would have asked how the stay was, but nothing, which was unfortunate."

"It was beautiful on the river with the cafe for eats . Very very slow service at the cafe . The manager did not understand Gluten Free allergies at all , which is not acceptable in this day and age . He was very pleasant tho and nothing was any trouble"
