"I had an overnight stay to catch the flight to Townsville. The Hotel is close to the Domestic Terminal, buses and rail to the city. It is an easy, short walk from the Domestic terminal to this Hotel. The Hotel is also close to buses going from the Domestic Terminal to the International Terminal. As with all Ibis establishments I found the room clean and comfortable with no noise from aircraft departing or landing."

"The owner who greeted us upon arrival was friendly, helpful and accommodating. the room was clean and comfortable as was the bed. The supplied continental breakfast was more than adequate and more than we could eat. However, it appeared that the room that we were in, was not really laid out for eating a meal in. This would've been done in the downstairs dining room which was no longer available. There was plenty of shared areas outside the room with comfortable seating and an outside deck with tables and chairs, as well as a large swimming pool."

"The accommodation was clean well set out, only glitch was the mattresses, mine, I think was upside down. I had, what felt like a metallic rod, biting into my hip. My daughter complained that the lower bunk mattress was too hard. Otherwise, all was pretty good. enjoyed our three nights there. We would be happy to stay there again."
