"Staff super friendly and helpful-
Perhaps some more explanation of what is available eg bikes to use -at check in the man didn’t tell me but the next day a lovely young girl was like are you riding the bikes at all today ? And I was like oh I didn’t know it was free - or available."
"Stay here quite regularly, the staff know us when we have appointments at the nearby hospital.
Staff are wonderful and caring.
The bathroom we had did leak and needed extra towels to mop up the water leaking onto the carpet.
The other downside is the wifi connection to the TV, we always seem to have trouble to connect no matter using Accor or hot spot."
"I've stayed here about 4 times over the last 2 months for hospital visits.
Was really let down by our last visit. The room was maintained very well with lights, low battery with keys not working and no telephone working and in addition microwave on lock. I bought this to the attention of reception however being a Sunday night maintenance could attend & we were out for most of days.
The ground floor executive room was noisy, with next door neighbours, swearing and loud behaviour. I found the other clientele to be rude, loud and very bogan.
It wasn't a relaxing stay for us unfortunately this time. I guess when there are cheap rates... It brings all colourful people to places!"
"I was shocked with how clean the room was such a lovely surprise 😊
The bed was very comphy
we loved the outdoor area attached ot our room it was so lovely to sit and look at the water.
The room was spacious.
Shower was excellent pressure and nice and hot and a nice spacious bathroom.
I liked that morning fresh was available to wash my dishes with as well as chxux cloths , scrub pad and scrubbing brush.
A weird one but they actually supplied excellent quality toilet paper (other places cheap out on toilet paper )
Plenty of Parking Available
Excellent spot very close to The Bribie Bridge (if you wanted to walk to Sandstone Point Hotel the walk isn't too bad).
A place I will definitely be staying again.
Kid Friendly as well.
Staff friendly and excellent communication prior to arriving happy to answer my annoying questions."
"Rumba Beach Resort is my go to get-away every visit for the last 10 years. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The evening happy hour is fun. Views from my 2 bedroom are amazing. Beach sunrise and Glass Mountains sunset. Nothing better! Easy access to eateries and walking the boardwalk up the coast."
"I love this hotel. Great value for money and tucked away for a quiet stay. There are renovations underway but it didn’t interfere with the running of the hotel. The pools are excellent, wonderful new gym, the restaurant is open from morning till night fur breakfast, lunch and dinner. Cocktail bar. Games room on the patio. Very spacious foyer with a large leather couch for relaxing. I chose a studio apartment overlooking the pools/golf course. Such a beautiful view to watch the golfers and bird life on the canal. Very very relaxing to sit with a glass of wine. There is a reading chair and footstool in the room aswell as 2 double beds and a bistro table/2 chairs. Kettle/toaster/fridge/bowls/plates/cutlery/wine glasses and a very well stocked tea caddy. I shall be revisiting real soon."
"I would like to have given this property five stars but a few appliances stopped working. They were quickly replaced but the maintenance needs to be constant. The manager was apologetic and sympathetic.
On a positive side it was a great location with two coffee shops downstairs and restaurants in walking distance. The kitchen was well equipped and living area was spacious. Comfortable bed with plenty of storage in the bedroom."
