Very Nice pool but the other facilities and rooms are not great. Front desk staff are very helpful but the service throughout the hotel is a bit lacking We had booked three rooms but when we were shown to them none of them ready. The shower leaked and the coffee and breakfast were not very appetizing.

Wow, das war ja mal ein Erlebnis - 4 Sterne, jedoch die niemals gerechtfertigt sind: alles sehr alt, wie in de Zeitmaschine, jedoch auch inkl dem Publikum.. und allegemein ein Gefühl der 'Halbpansion Hotels' von vor 25-30 Jahren aus der Türkei, nur halt in Italien.. Personal: kaum Bemühung, Personal im Restaurant - schrecklich.. Frühstück um 9.30 sieht aus wie ein leeres Schlachtfeld.. nur dass noch man überall das 'Halbpansion-Publikum' sieht wie die versuchen ein Brot oder sogar Wassermelonen 'für später' in den Rucksack einzupacken.. Der Service-Leiter motzt um 9.30 meine Frau an, sie kommt zu spät zum Frühstück, das bis 10.00 läuft.. der Kaffee (in Italien) kommt aus einem schrecklichen und schrecklich altem Vollautomat, schmeckt nach komischer Grütze.. und um einen richtigen Kaffee muss man betteln.. 4 Sterne .. Im Pool nur mit Bademütze, die man für 2€ kaufen muss.. 🙈

Klare Empfehlung mit kleinen Abstrichen

Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft und dem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das Frühstück war für italienische Verhältnisse abwechslungsreich, allerdings sind die Zimmer im Anbau extrem hellhörig/schlecht isoliert und die Handtücher z.T. in schlechtem Zustand. Die Außenanlagen sind traumhaft schön im vorderen Teil, im hinteren Teil des Parks jedoch ziemlich verwildert, was trotzdem seinen Charme hat. Wir haben eine Anwendung gemacht, Fango und Entspannungsmassage, mit der wir zufrieden waren. Forio ist ein empfehlenswerter Standort auf Ischia, da man von hier aus viel unternehmen kann. Der Tag in den Giardini de Poseidón Ende Oktober bei schönstem Wetter war genial, ebenso wie die beiden botanischen Gärten im Ort absolut sehenswert. Das Hotel ist gut an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr angebunden, sodass man die Insel problemlos auf eigene Faust erkunden und erwandern kann. Ein Tipp für einen Spaziergang in Hotelnähe: El Faro und die gleichnamige Bar mit sehr nettem deutsch sprechendem Besitzer.

+ environnement verdoyant et calme, maître d’hôtel très sympathique, chauffeur plutôt sympa (passé les premiers contacts) - nourriture moyenne, lits très durs, chambre et armoires qui sentent le renfermé, réceptionnistes peu sympathiques, style de l’hôtel un peu suranné/matériel défectueux ou abîmé, piscines avec un bassin très chaud (38°) et un autre trop frais (pour un séjour en octobre), clientèle majoritairement senior. En voyage avec nos 2 enfants, nous avions réservé 2 chambres standards, qui d’après le site de l’hôtel sont vers le centre du parc et spacieuses. Nous avons été placés dans 2 petites chambres, sur l’extérieur du parc. Après réclamation, nous avons compris que nous avions été mis dans des chambres « Vineyards », sans explication et sans excuse. En guise de dédommagement et après plusieurs demandes, l’hôtel nous a accordé une réduction de 20€ (sur un total de 700€).

Pessimo

Esperienza pessima aria condizionata che perdeva acqua mi sono ritrovato in un lago. Frigobar all interno della stanza vuoto neanche una bottiglia d acqua. Camera senza telefono per chiamare la reception. Letto scomodo non era un letto matrimoniale ma due letti singoli uniti ho dormito malissimo perché si creava il vuoto al centro. Camera al di fuori della struttura con una salita di 3 minuti a piedi per raggiungerla. Ho pagato una notte la bellezza di 110 euro per tutto questo. Ho fatto notare tutto alla reception ma hanno fatto finta di nulla Grazie e arrivederci la risposta Non ve lo consiglio non vale i soldi che costa!

Lots of disappointment at hotel

Staff unhelpful and rude, we booked 2 rooms a long time ago, unpon arrival they put us all in one room (4 adults). They had over booked, we were very upset, no air con and room was a good 7 mins walk from pool etc. After putting up a fight and whistling a lot of time they put us in correct rooms the next day, we had paid for 2 rooms and they did not accept responsibility for their mistake. Very disappointing. We ate in the restaraunt on the 1st night, a terrible meal for 20 euros each! Would not recommend this hotel.

Great hotel staff

We travelled with a guide dog which is always an interesting experience even in the UK. The staff at the hotel were fantastic and after an initial misunderstanding were really accommodating and included beach shuttles and dropping us at the ferry terminal. We opted for the B&B option although did eat in the hotel on the 1st evening. The food was fine but I enjoyed finding other places on the island to explore and eat.

A relaxed, honest establishment

Facility: This is a spa resort, great for relaxation. The hotel rests in its own little tourist village, and so is well isolated from the street. Outdoor (normal) and indoor (heated) pools are available free of charge; the spa services, including sauna, are at an hourly rate. Room: The room was spacious, clean and well ventilated. Two drawbacks are the excessively small shower compartment and stiff, slightly slanted matrass. Staff: The staff was nice and accommodating, but some had difficulty communicating in English.

Per una coppia quest'hotel è l'ideale: non è vicinissimo al mare, ma fuori dall'ingresso passano un paio di autobus che ti portano sia al mare che nel resto dell'isola; inoltre il punto forte dell'hotel è avere due ottime piscine, una calda e una fredda, incluse nel prezzo e fruibili tutto il giorno; vi è anche un grazioso centro massaggi con prezzi più che abbordabili ma del quale non abbiamo approfittato! il personale è eccellente, in particolare un ragazzo alla reception di cui purtroppo non ricordo il nome (non era Paolo comunque!),sempre disponibile, gentile ed impeccabile, il quale ci ha anche prenotato e stampato i biglietti del traghetti di ritorno.Colazioni modeste ma perfettamente in linea con gli standard! Il personale di sala è il top, con quell'accendo napoletano e il calore che ti trasmettono ad ogni battuta è fenomenale, poi sono preparatissimi, parlano molto bene inglese, francese e tedesco! Entrando nell'HOtel vi sembrerà di stare in un mondo a parte, infatti prima di prenotare chiedete dove sarete ubicati, perchè ci sono diverse palazzine dislocate in un'ampia area, io le la mia ragazza ogni giorno ci facevamo una passeggiata piacevola tra ulivi, viti, alberi da frutto di ogni genere, di circa 400 m dalla sala da pranzo alla nostra camera, che faceva parte di un piccolo complesso di villette singole, con tanto di terrazzino; la camera, nonostante le 4 stelle dell'Hotel, era molto spartana. Unica pecca il servizio navetta, da potenziare! comunque lo consiglio
