Loved the fact the hotel room was spacious and air conditioned. It was a real relief to go back to a nice cool room for some well deserved rest after Disneyland in a heatwave! Room itself is fine, as described, with fridge and some equipment for serving a light meal. No tea towels though so bring your own, or can request extra towel from reception.
My wallet got stolen on the train, but the receptionist on duty at 11:30pm was not very knowledgeable or in any way inclined to help apart from issuing a new key card, so I spent 2 hours trying to file a French police report with google translate, when I could have gone to the train station ticket office to report it, which would have been much quicker. The host is the source of local knowledge for travellers, and this attitude contravenes expectations, hence I did not give higher rating.
