This cozy first-floor duplex offers a serene setting with an oceanfront deck that spans the length of the home, providing the perfect spot to enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean. Ideal for couples, small families, or friends, The Cottage delivers a comfortable coastal experience just steps from the beach.

The living area is open and bright, with stunning ocean views and cozy seating, creating a tranquil space to unwind. Relax indoors or step out onto the deck to enjoy the sea breeze and stunning scenery.

The well-equipped kitchen includes essential appliances and ample counter space, offering beautiful ocean views as you prepare meals. (Please note, there is no dishwasher in this unit.)

What an amazing location!!! Right off the beach!! Everything was clean. Unfortunately, AC was out upon arrival and for the first night (up to 88 degrees inside)but they brought in 4 window units the next day to cool the house down. They comped us the first night for our experience. If the AC would have worked the whole time it would have been amazing. I wish they had more amenities such has more towels, salt & Pepper, couple coffees, or ice. The bed was so so. I could feel every time my husband moved.

The property was nice but it looks nicer online. I don't remember reading in the listing that the air conditioning was window units. The front door was very hard to open or shut. The back door was hard to shut and stay shut. Views, cleanliness and location was great! Perfect size for two people.

Summer trip!

The property was exactly as listed. Very comfortable and clean, great location - close to downtown but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Great proximity to the ocean - really enjoyed the deck. Three recommendations: an outside light near the front door, three deck chairs for all three guests (vs 2) and would have been perfect if we had beach chairs for use. To purchase there and leave was too expensive. Overall we loved the cottage and enjoyed the area very much.

Dolphin

My stay at the Dolphin was exactly what we needed. It was quiet, quaint, and out of the way. This end of Folly is quiet yet close enough to the hustle and bustle of you wish to access it. Definitely would receive this property to anyone looking to refresh and recharge.

We stayed on the beach!

My daughter and I visited and were amazed as we drove into the driveway. This home was perfectly situated on the beach as its backyard! We loved listening to the waves and seeing dolphins from our windows. We woke up to bright orange sunrises and enjoyed coffee while walking along the water. Such a special home and location.

Nice getaway

Nice, clean and quiet property. Check-in process was not easy. We arrived at night and there is no visable adress on the property facing the street. Poorly lit outside, very hard to see steps to unit. Do not use the directions feature in VRBO app as it takes you to the wrong address. No way to contact host unless you call the emergency line. I was not willing to do this as it was not an emergency. They only take calls or texts during business hours. Nice beds and unit. The large round chair in the living room is very uncomfortable and needs to be replaced with real furniture. The couch was nice, but a second comfortable seating option would have been appreciated. Overall very nice, but check in sucks at night and is not clear.

Cute and well maintained, great smaller rental in a great location. House moves in the wind which was slightly disconcerting but not a huge deal. Did not realize there wasn’t a dishwasher based on the listing - not really a problem for us but might be for some guests. Bathroom shelf needs tightening and grill igniter isn’t working, FYI.

PERFECT!!

We had a wonderful time. The house was absolutely perfect. It was well maintained, very nice, and we loved it! It’s right on the beach. You literally walk out the back door and you are on the beach. Honestly, this house was amazing. We will for sure be back!!!

Good value, nice clean house.

We were happy to find this place for our visit to Folly Beach. It is a good location, directly on the beach and just a short drive to all the restaurants and shops in the island center. The house was very clean and comfortable. The host gave good instructions and the automatic check-in was easy. The only minor issue is that the deck and steps to the beach had quite a few rusty nails and screws sticking out that you need to watch out for. Overall, still a 5 star property.

Great HQ for a weekend in the Charleston area. Local spots for seafood, even pizza delivery (make sure you know if you’re East or West on the island!) Property was clean, located right on the beach. Comfortable beds.

Great Location! Very clean & comfortable

Great location, right on the beach. Close enough to town, but far enough away to avoid the crowds. Very clean with newer updates. Beds are very comfortable. Management company is responsive and great to work with. There are a few areas I would improve, but did not negatively affect our stay at all. The deck is in need of some repairs. It is sturdy, but definitely has wear and tear. However, we loved sitting outside on the deck in the morning, drinking coffee, reading, watching the surfers and listening to the waves. There are a lot of personal, family photographs everywhere and it made it feel a bit like we were invading someone's space. I would also recommend mattress covers/protectors. Again, none of this negatively affected our stay at all. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
