Rented the house to stay for our daughter’s wedding in Charleston. Great neighborhood, close to beach, plenty of space. House is showing its age a little but has a very well stocked kitchen and nice outdoor spaces. Would recommend adding some additional rolls of paper towels, toilet paper and a starter kit of laundry detergent for convenience. Counter top pellet ice maker and large capacity coffee maker were nice touches.

Our trip started with a major issue when another property we had booked since last year canceled on us 5 days before check-in due to lengthy maintenance issue. The owner of that property was very helpful in getting us a full refund. What a blessing this was because we loved this house! The walk to the beach is a straight shot no more than 4 minutes pulling a wagon load of beach gear. And speaking of beach gear this property included a 250 credit at VayKLife Beach Rentals! The gear was there when arrived and all we had to do is leave it in the same place for them to pick up. That was nice! We rented a golf cart for our stay but to be honest we only needed it to entertain the little ones. Center street was only a 5 to 7 minute walk. It was easier to walk than trying to find a parking place that didn’t cost 10. This house had all we needed and will definitely book again when we go back to Folly.

These beasts loved Beauty and the beach

The property was everything we were expecting. Ample parking, great backyard and 3 outdoor showers! We would definitely stay here again.

Thanksgiving at Folly Beach

The house is a perfect house for Thanksgiving at the beach. Our dogs loved it. We had quick access to the beach and loved watching the sunrise and sunset every day. We were close to town and walked to get coffee, shop and get lunch. It was the perfect house. The management team was great.

Loved everything about this house and the location will stay here again. Only issue was we had to buy our own toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and laundry detergent.Other VRBO's that we have stayed in had a supply of items. Other than that it was amazing. Next time I will be a little more prepared and will ask more questions.

Weekend beach trip

Everything was amazing. The house more than exceeded our expectations. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Exactly as Advertised!

This house did not disappoint! Great location, we could walk to the beach and the downtown shops/restaurants. Plenty of room for our family (six adults, three kids (ages 4, 6 & 8) spring break trip.

Not What We Bargained For

This property is in disrepair. Dishwasher badly broken and barely usable, cabinet door falling off hinges, walls and trim badly scuffed and scratched and need to be caulked and repainted, floors in kitchen badly worn, can't wipe the table enough to get the sticky off, dishes and pans had to be washed before using, the fridge has an ice maker and water dispenser but it doesn't work, pillows are horrible and extras which were provided are badly stained (should be thrown away) and so much more. I would not ever stay at this house again. Not a good value.

Fun at Folly

Great house for 8-10 people. Kitchen has everything you need. Screened in back porch and out old showers a nice plus. Nice front porch for more relaxing. Lovely bedrooms and baths. Close to eveything. MUCH closer to beach than we expected using the path. Close enough to town to walk!

Perfect Folly Beach getaway

We had a great stay in Folly Beach! The house is as pictured and was roomy enough for 10 adults. The kitchen is stocked with lots of dishes, cups, and pots/pans for cooking. A short >5 minute walk brings you right to the beach, and the neighborhood itself was quiet and lovely. The hosts were super responsive and accommodating. Would love to visit again in the future.

Perfect for family beach vacation

Great location near the beach and easy quick walk to downtown Folly Beach! Plenty of room for a couple families and we had kids ranging from 4 up to teenagers. Very clean and comfortable and the screened in porch was great to keep the mosquitos away. Would definitely recommend!

Second time at this property

This was our second time in 6 months staying at this property, and we would stay again! This house is perfect for a family with kids/teens. Plenty of room for everyone. The location is a short walk to the beach, which we love. Management is quick to respond with any questions. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. Great house!
