And let’s not forget the wine. If you are looking for a place to make memories in Tuscany, this is the place. We plan to return one day. "

"We booked for two nights expecting more to explore. In early Dec? Many things are closed (historical sites, etc). If you're passing thru' I'd say Piombino is a nice town for a one night stop. Especially if en route to Elba. Otherwise? Well this hotel has a perfect location if arriving by triain (3 min walk). And it's right at the top of the pedestrian zone going down to the water. Room was a decent size, bathroom was good. Some downsides: light from the street wasn't blocked enough, and in Dec over heated. Breakfast was good if you like pastries, yogurt, cereal. 2nd morning they offered eggs as well. Perfectly good option for a one night stop, great location."

"The hotel is older but very well maintained. Easy walk to anything in town: cafe, restaurant, castle, beaches, shopping and churches. Lovely and friendly staff. Breakfast could have more cold options like fruit and vegetables. "

"Lovely family stay in a well serviced resort. Choice of restaurants and pools were good. Staff helpful. The chalet could have had a few more basics as not even a cloth at the sink to use. Also, a few things were more expensive than you thought… mini golf expensive and the buffet is pricey so you have to be very hungry to get your moneys worth! The staff work hard and it’s a happy place to relax and enjoy the beach. "
