「A wonderful guesthouse in a beautiful rural area. The couple who runs the guesthouse were both very kind and helped me enjoy my stay. I stayed in a twin room for five days and found the facilities in the house useful and clean. The view from the backyard was fantastic.」

「A Real Icelandic Experience! Just reopened last year with very cozy rooms in a beautiful location on a working farm with horses, sheep and other livestock. You can take a little stroll up the hill to be greeted by the horses or veer towards the beautiful river gorge. The hotel is privately owned in 3rd generation and gives you an authentic Icelandic experience. Best place we stayed in Iceland . We would love to visit again.」

「This is basically camping in heated heavy plastic tents, great heated beds and only 2 toilets for the entire "campground" (7 other "buuble tents". I'm an avid camper so enjoyed it. If you're looking for seriously dark skies (which I was), be warned: there are nearby greenhouses with very bright lights on all night long. There is a shared kitchen, but stovetop didn't work so only sink & refrigerator」
