Fabulous property and a perfect location! The room was comfortable and well appointed and the staff was tremendously helpful. And above and beyond was the restaurant! The food was absolutely scrumptious and I would go there just to eat, even if I wasn’t staying there! Definitely a gem!

I really enjoyed this hotel and wish I could've stayed more than one night. It was clean, comfy, and in a good location along my scenic travel route. The Icelandic Salmon I had for dinner at the restaurant was the best salmon I've had! I enjoyed the hot tub after a long day. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend it!

Easy check in, staff was friendly. Very much appreciated that they kept the kitchen open even though we arrived right when it was closing. And dinner was EXCELLENT!!! Breakfast the next morning was good too. Overall very nice, peaceful stay. We were able to get to the waterfall before the crowds arrived!

Amazing!! 5 minutes from Gullfoss. Catch it at sunrise if possible. Geysir is a short drive. Very comfy updated room. Breakfast buffet was fabulous and included in our Expedia booking. Hot tubs on demand. Cold, tasty Icelandic lagers on tap. Quiet at night. Staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Whole place was spotless. No stairs. More than we expected. Thank you!

My wife and I spent our first night in Iceland at Hotel Gulfoss and could not have been happier with our choice. The location is perfect for visiting the attractions on the Golden Circle furthest from Reykjavik. Our room was large, clean, and well-appointed. The king bed was comfortable and had twin duvets, so there was no arguing over how much cover each of us needed. We enjoyed a delicious lamb dinner in the dining room with views of the spectacular landscape. The bar had a good wine and liquor selection. There is plenty of free parking. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great accommodations for one night or several.

Modern, clean, well-mantained one-story hotel (more like an American motel). Comparable to an above-average Hilton Hampton Inn. Very conveniently located for exploring Gullfoss and Geysir. Onsite restaurant offers commendable evening dining off a limited menu. Bar service is good. Staff is courteous and accommodating. Believe we stayed in the newer of the hotel's two wings. Would not hesitate to stay there again.
