We enjoyed our time here. We came into town for 2 nights to go to Floyd Country store. We got into town late and didn't realize how early everything closed so it was great to have a kitchen. The place was clean and comfortable. Easy to walk to town.

Perfect spot

We had a wonderful time staying at Golden Maple. Roomy 2 room apartment right in easy walking distance to Main Street and all the restaurants and shops. Very comfortable beds and the owners provided anything you could possibly need. Would definitely stay here again.

Back Again!

We have stayed at the other apartment in this building and they are wonderful! Quiet location around the corner from Downtown Floyd that is always busy with things to do. We will definitely be back.

Great apartment and location!

My sister and I were looking for a place to stay in Floyd while we were caring for our elderly dad. This apartment was perfect and was clean, comfortable and very well stocked. The location was also great and very convenient to everything in Floyd. The owner was also amazing and helped accommodate us at the last minute and was very responsive. I will definitely stay here again!

We Loved Floyd!

We loved your place! It was perfect for our family! Our son is a freshman at Virginia Tech and we came to visit for Parents Weekend. Your place was perfect for our stay and had everything we needed! We enjoyed wine at night and coffee in the morning! It was very comfortable and beautifully decorated! We will definitely be back! We also LOVED all Floyd had to offer and enjoyed spending Sunday in the town! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Perfect Stop for 81 Travel

I had a lovely stay at The Golden Maple. I was traveling from Asheville, NC to northern Virginia on 81 and I had always wanted to visit Floyd (home of Floydfest and the Yoga Festival). The Golden Maple is located on a quiet side street, but within walking distance of the quaint main area of the town. I walked to dinner and then back to the apartment. It was clean and comfortable - and I enjoyed the Andes chocolates left for a special touch in the master bedroom. I would happily stay there again!

Hidden Gem in Floyd

This was our third time staying at this property. The apartment is nicely decorated and stocked. Beds are comfortable and easily sleep 4+. The location is fantastic - easy walking distance to the heart of Floyd, restaurants, shops, and a grocery store, but far enough away from the main roads to reduce noise and traffic. We've used this as our "base of operations" for attending football games at Virginia Tech. Blacksburg is an easy drive and its much less expensive than staying in overpriced hotels in BB or CB on football weekends. Looking forward to staying here again soon!

Quick stay in Floyd

Very nicely decorated apartment. Kitchen well supplied. LR and BR comfortable. There is a tall set of wooden stairs to climb. My opinion is that they need to increase the stair lighting during the shorter days. There are some lights on the stairs but they don't illuminate well enough. Otherwise, this is a wonderful apartment that is very conveniently located to downtown.

We arrived at the check-in time. The apartment was ready, clean, and comfortable.The coffee, water, wine, popcorn and instant oatmeal were nice. Easy walk to Floyd Country Store, Farmers market, and restaurants. Needs: the coded door lock either needs to be replaced or needs a fresher battery. The rubber buttons are troublesome - requiring a long push for each. The towel rack in the bathroom needs to be reattached before it falls out. Skip the fuzzy decorative throw pillows in the bedroom - they are only dust collectors.

Property was Clean and Cozy, Host has made sure everything you need is available. Perfect location for walking downtown. Safe location! Hope to stay again soon. Outside light would be nice to have when coming in after dark. The area has so much to see and do nearby. Beautiful County
