We wanted to make tea and there was only one cup in the kitchen. The room is really small and doesn’t look at all like the photos or what I reserved. The air conditioning barely works the TV not at all. We could only get one channel with K-pop and it wouldn’t change the channels or even turn off once we turned it on, we had to unplug it. The room they gave us is right on the main road and so lots of traffic and noise no double pane windows, so we will not sleep well before our early morning flights. They also would not accommodate us by creating to go bag breakfast since we have an early flight. All I would’ve asked for is a boiled egg and banana, but she wouldn’t even talk about it. Definitely not worth the price. We are paying we could’ve stayed somewhere much closer to the airport and just paid $10 more and had a much better experience. This place is not as advertised in the photos or as it says in its description.

Very nice and friendly stay for a weekend with my partner. Conveniently close to the airport, it has a very nice garden. The rooms are spacious same as the bathroom only thing is that the bed was very noisy and the ventilator could have been a bigger one. After a very sunny day the room was very hot and that little ventilator could not make it. Other than that it was great.

The woman working was so lovely, I was the only one staying here and she made sure to be there for my whole stay (i.e., 24/7 front desk). I needed to leave for the airport at 3:30 AM, and she was able to arrange transportation for me for 10 USD to the airport. She did not speak English but we handled everything via Google translate and everything worked perfectly. I did not rate this 5 stars as the area around the property felt a little unsafe, and it was a little far from the airport (especially during rush hour when I was trying to get there) but if you want a spot near where other travellers stay, this is a great one!

Great place to stay that is close to the SJO airport for a short stay or quick layover. Service was very nice and friendly. The location is in a nice neighbourhood within walking distance to many different restaurants and bars.

We stayed here for the night before our flight home. Very bare bones, basic lodging, but that's what I paid for. The hostess was very nice, and she made an excellent breakfast, and the place is kept very clean. The neighborhood seemed a bit rough, but we just stayed in after dark and they have good security. If you do stay here and don't speak Spanish, have google translator ready- owners do not speak English.

Blanca et Josue nous ont très bien accueillis ! Ils sont à l'écoute, disposés à bavarder et soucieux de faire toujours mieux. Nous avons occupé la grande chambre du fond, donc nuit paisible sans bruit de rue ni chiens. Literie bien propre au confort moyen, comme souvent. Fin novembre le grand ventilateur a largement suffi pour garder le frais. Une grande salle de bain avec une douche à bon débit et un eau bien chaude, quel plaisir ! Un bon gros petit déjeuner préparé par Blanca nous a remis les idées en place. Accès à du café et infusions pendant la journée. Le petit jardin est parfaitement fermé si vous voulez lâcher vos animaux domestiques. Compter 3600 colons pour le parking de nuit dans un des parkings gardés puisqu'il n'est pas permis dans la rue. En somme, quoique les lieux et le jardin soient bruyants le jour à cause de la rue malgré le mur, l'essentiel y est pour bien récupérer après un vol. Demandez une des chambres du fond et vous dormirez bien. Une chouette adresse. Merci !

Convenientemente cercano al aeropuerto

No hay recepción por lo que debes de avisar antes de tu llegada para que alguien te espere y te abra en la propiedad, pero aquí en hoteles.com por ningún lado te indican eso, por lo que el ingreso no fue el mejor. La estancia buena y la atención también. Eso sí, nos sugirieron que podíamos dejar la camioneta afuera estacionada en la calle y no habría problemas, nos multaron, jajja. Mejor dejarlo en el estacionamiento que está a dos cuadras.

Great little place to stay after or before a flight. Handy to get to the airport and the town was more chill than SJ. No AC so it was a bit warm. Nice family run place. Great restaurant on the block La Sopa.
