Very nice place, clean and great area. No toilet paper or laundry detergent though so we had to buy our own. Other than that, highly recommend!

Everything about this listed property was completely fabricated. The information that was listed on Expedia was completely different from the actual location. Upon arrival, we were told to check in through a virtual key which would not work without proper internet connection, communication with the host was inadequate and ineffective when trying to locate the property during arrival. Additionally, IT WAS NOT listed on that the apartment would be located on the third floor of a STEEP staircase, for those with disabilities this property is COMPLETELY INACCESSIBLE. This property is listed in a way to falsify the actual experience of staying here, complete disappointment and it is abundantly clear that it is poorly managed.

Very nice place to stay overall, fantastic location on the quieter side of the river. Some lovely restaurants literally on the corner, and very close to major landmarks. However, YOU NEED TO HAVE MOBILE INTERNET IN ORDER TO OPEN THE FRONT DOOR / THE APARTMENT DOOR. We got e-sims for Italy, but the mobile data was pretty slow, so we had to wait a few minutes for the app to load in order to get inside. The signal in the area is also quite poor. It was ok with us but can't imagine our parents successfully navigating the check-in process. Otherwise, everything was great. 8/10 P.S. Also, just a note, you can't call a taxi directly to the building, as it's in a car-restricted area. Go to the Pitti Palazzo to get a cab.

Difficult to locate at first. Then you only access the building and apartment via an internet link that is emailed the day before, so you must have network access (eg an Italian SIM card) or else you can’t get into the building. 4 narrow steep flights of stairs to the room then again need to unlock the door via the email link. However, you don’t get cell phone reception in the stairwell. So someone needs to stay at the apartment door while the other goes back down the stairs, outside to get a signal to unlock the door. I’ve no idea what you’d do if you were on your own. 2 of the mattresses are so old you feel the springs digging into your body. The windows don’t close properly as the closing locks are broken, so prepare for noise (ear plugs are a must). Great shower (it’s new) and handy to have a kitchen. There’s no phone number and I had to call Expedia to get an email address to request access details. More negatives than positives. Would pay more and stay elsewhere next time.
