Everything was great! There was someone there who kept in contact with us, greeted us upon arrival & showed us around the unit. The location is fantastic, A/C worked great, overall a solid choice!

Plus points:
Very convenient location meaning many attractions are within easy walking distance.
The local company which manages the apartment was responsive to issues.
The view from the kitchen is beautiful.
Less good points:
Usually, we stay in a rival’s places which are managed by the actual owner. This property seems to be managed by a local company, leading to a much less personal and for us less good experience.
It’s not terribly well looked after. For example, broken toilet seat, lots of dirt on the wardrobe (where I stupidly put the duvet.) Boiler not working. The management company was very responsive, but couldn’t fix it during our stay.
The living room ceiling is beautifully painted. But there’s obviously been a leak, and one morning beneath the leak we found small fragments of plaster which hadn’t been there the day before. I feel the owner needs to take more interest.
I’m still a little in shock that the flat didn’t have a manual or guest book. I thought all holiday rentals have a booklet telling you the code for the downstairs door, how appliances work and usually favourite restaurants, nearby shops, etc.
The other apartment we stayed in on this trip, welcomed us with wine, mineral water, fresh tomatoes, pasta, lemons, coffee machine with capsules and even a birthday cake. In the Florence flat there were a few tea bags.
In the apartment, there are sheets and duvets but no duvet cover. Also nothing between the sheet and the (good quality) mattress. Unhygienic?
This apartment in Florence was super clean, conveniently located to the city, and just a great place to stay. It was quiet, and we had good communication with the manager. We highly recommend this apartment if you are going to stay and visit the beautiful city of Florence.
We enjoyed our stay. Apartment was very centrally located, had beautiful views of the square. You do do have to climb few flight of stairs as apryt is on higher level.
We enjoyed this apartment and the view very much! Piazza Santa Croce is busy but not as busy as some of the main areas in Florence. There are convenient shops including a nice coffee shop, sandwich shop, delicious restaurants, and the gold & leather market all within the piazza or very closeby. This apartment is on floor 2 but there are actually 2 floors to climb so just be aware. Apartment was updated and very spacious but could have been slightly better appointed with some coffee supplies to get started. Living room could also use additional comfy furniture. Beds were okay but could be much more comfortable with mattress toppers. All in all we loved the view and check in was easy!
The apartment is close to all the historic site from a few minutes to a 30 minute walk. About a 25 minute walk to the airport tram station at Unita. Didn't use them but a cab gathering spot is just across the piazza.
The apartment was clean and had everything we needed.
Everything is exactly as presented in the listing.
This apartment in the Piazza Santa Croce is alright and while we were happy, we were certainly not delighted. It is sparsely furnished & clean with bare basic amenities but is not uncomfortable. The Wi-Fi was good.
The location is indeed excellent - within walking distance of all the major landmarks of Florence and a mere 5-7 minute walk from the Arno river. It is in a secure & safe place with a number of restaurants, again within walking distance.
The location was perfect for getting around Florence yet not feeling like it was a touristy area. Awesome neighborhood feel with great restaurants and convenience. Apartment was very clean and nicely kept.
Only thing is one set of towels are given…..staying for a week makes it hard. There is a washer but no dryer so air drying towels can make it hard to have a dry towel to shower again. But overall great experience!!
Apartment was roomy and clean and loved looking out the window at all the activity in the Piazza! Enjoyed the "farmer's market" which was going on when we were there. Purchased delicious fresh meats and cheese! Four of us stayed here and there was plenty of room. Two full baths and a half bath was a nice addition. Air conditioning was nice and cooled it down in about 10 minutes.
We saw Florence Duomo and toured the Galleria dell'Accademia. My son said we had to grab a sandwich at All'antico Vinaio, so we shared one and it was delicious.
We also did a wine tour in the Tuscan Countryside and thoroughly enjoyed the scenery and wine.
Would definitely stay here again!
