We stayed between Christine Eve and New Years Eve. Plus I would have preferred to have contacted the booking agent direct to share our concerns, but that has not been possible. Therefore I am leaving a review, which will be mainly negative, for which I am sorry.We had hoped for a cosy week away over Christmas. However the apartment was far from cosy. The boiler isn’t straight forward and doesn’t seem able to warm the small apartment up. The radiators failed to warm through completely, so it told me that the system wasn’t setup properly. Given it was freezing weather during our weeks stay in Florence, we needed a reliable heat source.Also the lack of carbon monoxide and smoke detectors, are a concern but we were advised these are planned.Also whilst the kitchen has ample storage, some good basic equipment would be greatly appreciated.The pluses for the apartment are its location, so central and therefore virtually everything is walkable.Also the apartment is quiet and located well away from street noise, so again ideal. But for the price this apartment doesn’t have the wow factor.In fact all the accommodation after this initial week, four other stays, all far exceeded this property.We could only recommend this property for a stay during warmer months, as the cool and the garden would be welcome and come into their own.Finally whilst we have used Vrbo a number of times for booking accommodation, this has made us review our booking options in the future
